Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Estimator to lead estimating efforts for complex commercial projects. This role supports bid development, ensures the accuracy of cost projections, and contributes to strategic preconstruction planning. As a key leader within the preconstruction team, this position also mentors junior staff while collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Lead the development of comprehensive estimates covering labor, material, equipment, and time requirements for competitive bidding and budgeting.
- Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders—clients, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers—to formulate estimates, resolve issues, and confirm project scope.
- Review and assess project updates, RFIs, and addenda for cost and scope implications.
- Present estimates clearly and confidently to clients, owners, and leadership, leveraging strong communication and presentation skills.
- Organize and facilitate estimate reviews, internal meetings, and bid strategy discussions, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities.
- Draw upon analytical thinking to compare current estimates to historical data, uncover cost drivers, and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Develop clear scopes of work, bid tabs, assumptions, qualifications, and reconciliation reports, while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Attend and contribute to pre-bid, preconstruction, and project planning meetings as needed.
- Maintain a detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven approach to managing multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Provide hands-on mentorship to junior estimating team members including Estimator I, Estimator II, and Bid Coordinators.
- Foster and maintain effective professional relationships with estimators, preconstruction engineers, and company leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent relevant field experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of commercial construction experience , with at least 5 years in a dedicated estimating role .
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical documents and communicate complex project details effectively.
- Highly skilled in managing client relationships and cross-functional team coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and time management.
Preferred:
- Experience using On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software.
- Background in developing reconciliation reports and cost-saving recommendations through value management.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.

Eversource is looking for a Supervisor, Construction (Construction Management, Transmission) located in Eastern Massachusetts . In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the construction field management and construction inspection process of projects for transmission lines and substations in Massachusetts. You will directly supervise Transmission Construction Representatives and work with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Contract Administration, other Transmission Group managers and field staff to ensure the safe and timely completion of work meeting Eversource's quality standards. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental programs, policies, rules, and regulations; will direct safety awareness and compliance initiatives within the department; and be responsible for monitoring the safety and environmental performance of contractors.
Essential Functions:
Supervises the performance of all aspects of construction field management activities for Substation and Transmission Lines where contractor resources are utilized.
Works effectively with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Contract Administration, other transmission business managers, CONVEX, Legal, Purchasing and field staff to provide support using contractor resources to ensure the safe and timely completion of work meeting Eversource’s quality standards.
Responsible for managing all aspects of the construction phase of projects relative to cost, productivity, schedule, best practices, and Eversource Policies and Procedures.
Ensures compliance with environmental programs, policies, rules and regulations.
Directs efforts to achieve world-class excellence regarding safe work practices and safety performance.
Promotes teamwork among and between all members of the Transmission and Distribution organizations in his/her jurisdiction and other internal groups.
The position requires system-wide on-call responsibilities.

Brief Position Overview
As a Warehouse Laborer at Great Basin Industrial, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects by providing manual labor and assistance in maintaining a productive warehouse environment. You will work under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager and collaborate with a dedicated team.
Primary Duties
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (training provided).
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Assist in inventory control by checking in and tagging new shipments.
- Follow all safety guidelines and practices to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
- Complete paperwork and documentation related to shipments and inventory management.
