- 15 Years of Experience in the highway/heavy civil/bridge industry including senior project management and estimating. Must have direct experience with state Departments of Transportation.
- Experience with projects > $75M.
- Experience in managing budgets and analyzing performance data.
- Experience in various deliver methods including design bid build, design build and GMP.
- Estimating/Bidding experience in highway and bridge (DOT) construction.
- Experience in preparation of technical proposals and letters of interest/SOQs or alternative delivery projects.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, executing, and completing construction projects on time and within budget, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Managing project documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance.

We focus on serving clients in the commercial market with emphasis on the following project types: restaurant dining and quick service food. The ideal candidate for this role is a career-minded individual with a customer service focus, has high energy, and is detail oriented. This candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Leads an environment of Respect, Commitment, Teamwork, Integrity, Reliability, and Professionalism.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, owners, etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 3 years commercial retail construction project management, preferably with quick service restaurants.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software, Sage 100 and Procore
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellence with organizational and time-management skills is a must
- A team player with leadership abilities
- BS/BA in engineering, building science, or construction will be an advantage

Estimator Job Description:
- The Estimator will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates including experience with conceptual estimating for both negotiated and hard bids as well as overseeing an estimating team.

Estimator Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation of conceptual cost models, budgets and feasibility models based on historical cost data and/or subcontractor input as appropriate
- Identify and report problems or deficiencies to the Project Manager
- Analyze project program, design, costs, and subcontractor input; provide comparisons, cost-saving, and value engineering options
- Prepare cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs occurred in heavy civil industry projects

Estimator Qualifications:

- Proficient with relevant construction technology; Procore experience
