- Completing Maintenance & Repairs - You'll be completing small to larger maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. The project length can range from two hours to two days.

- Live within the area
- Have 10+ years' experience as a paid handyman

**Job Summary**
The Water Skilled Laborer/Groundman is responsible for supporting the crew by assisting with the installation and repair of water lines.
Responsibilities
+ Support crew with handling and joining water pipe.
+ Fit pipe that is ditched or drilled in the ground.
+ Ensure every joint meets quality standards.
+ Keep tools in complete working order.
+ Safely operate equipment, such as rubber-tired backhoe, skid steer loader, directional drill, trencher, asphalt paving machine, etc.
+ Utilize equipment after the Operator digs the ditch line for water mains.
+ Locate utilities by hand with a shovel and probe.
+ Manage inventory on the truck.
+ Teach other employees how to join pipe to the correct specs.
+ Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications
**Minimum**
+ High school diploma, or equivalent.
+ 1 year of water groundman experience.
+ Valid driver's license is required.
**Preferred**
+ 2 or more years of water groundman experience.
**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
