Description:
The General Machine Operator is responsible for operating mechanical or automated machinery for the production of high performance and severe duty brake, clutch and transmission applications. Duties may include operating various types of manufacturing presses, blankers, grinders, and coating operations. Additional set-up and tear down of specific components may also be required.
Requirements:The following job responsibilities are expected to be performed satisfactorily with supervision in a training status:
· Perform operations in a safe manner.
· Review equipment at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
· Ensure needed materials are ready and notify supervision of shortages.
· Adjust equipment parameters as stated in the router.
· Operate equipment as stated in the router.
· Perform quality checks per control plan.
· Complete hour by hour boards with documentation of issues if goals are not attained and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Monitor equipment to ensure optimum running and notify supervision of any equipment issues.
· Maintain and clean equipment before and after each shift.
· Complete operator specific preventative maintenance procedures.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 0-2 years prior manufacturing or machine operating experience
· Ability to lift tooling and products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
· Demonstrated ability to use measuring tools (Gauges, Indicators, etc.)
· Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English at the 12th grade level or better.
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
· Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:· Professional attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
· Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Understand how to prioritize and meet production deadlines.

- Works from specific verbal and/or written instructions and standard work instructions
- Makes routine adjustments/set ups of equipment for limited and readily definable and measurable variables such as length, temperature, or process speed.
- Loads raw material into the machine, completes minor changeovers, monitors machine operations, and inspects completed parts to ensure that job specifications are maintained.
- Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
- Maintain activity logs
- May participate in cross-training activities with other related positions
- Supports and participates in the Company's management and quality system including continuous improvement efforts
- Notifies group leader or supervisor of any problems or non-conforming product
- Supports and implements the Environmental policy as it pertains to work activities

Summary/Objective
The fiber laser machine operator position safely performs laser cutting for a variety of organizational manufacturing needs.
Essential Functions
- Perform typical laser cutting operations
- Select proper cutting and fixtures
- Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point
- Make proper set-ups for cutting operations
- Perform prescribed maintenance as required
- Perform all dimensional inspections
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Read, understand and comprehend basic blueprints and drawings
- Must be able to complete paper work accurately
- May work at different workstations as production needs require
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Must be able to work outside in harsh weather conditions.

SUMMARY:
CARES is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, Medicaid-funded mental health crisis line for children, adolescents, and adult Illinois residents. The nature of the work associated with the Crisis Call Center is to provide resources to callers who are experiencing a suicidal, self-harming, aggressive, and/or psychotic episode and need therapeutic support.
Line Agents are responsible for taking incoming crisis calls, completing an initial clinical assessment, and determining the next level of service. The Line Agent is responsible for dispatching referrals in a timely manner, making subsequent follow-up calls as needed, and ensuring the quality and integrity of data entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Administration: Have the ability to multitask duties and systems, which include but are not limited to: answering crisis calls, completing initial clinical assessments, identifying outcomes and follow-up services, utilizing spreadsheets, and navigating computer-based data entry programs.
Communication : Effective and consistent written and verbal communication is required both internally and externally. Provide clear, accurate, and concise narratives concerning client behaviors that are reported to stakeholders and funders. Effective listening and strong verbal communication skills are also required.
Computer Operations: Line Agents are required to have the ability to proficiently view and enter data, properly open and close spreadsheets, folders, drives, and programs, minimize and maximize documents, open and close browsers, and develop a workflow to navigate between programs. Minimally type 40 wpm, understand keyboard functions, and have basic troubleshooting knowledge.
HIPAA : Adhere to HIPAA laws and regulations. Remote office space must meet HIPAA standards.
Quality Improvement : Participate in the agency's ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Other Functions : The Agency may assign different functions to the job at its discretion.
