Job Skills and Requirements- Bachelors or masters degree in tax, accounting, or finance

- Review and understand various contracts and create summaries
- Working knowledge of international tax issues including FBARs, Forms 5471, Form 5472, 8938, 8858 and GILTI.

We are located in West Los Angeles and are seeking an accountant who is an active Enrolled Agent or a CPA to work on client cases. Experience as a former IRS Revenue Officer, Revenue Agent, or Auditor is extremely desirable and preferred.
This is a full-time position that can be done mostly remotely, although you must be geographically close enough to Los Angeles to be able to come into our West LA office as needed, and to personally attend audits and other meetings. However, we will consider candidates outside of the Los Angeles area.
This is not a bookkeeping position and does not include any administrative bookkeeping work/duties for our law firm as you will only be working on client cases. There will be some tax preparation in conjunction with our client representation, but there won't be any late nights during tax season. Experience with personal and corporate tax returns is a must.
