What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like

  • Partner closely with the VP of Global Creative and Head of Social to strategically push the creative vision of all brand campaigns and deliverables to completion, while meeting the business objectives with innovative social creative.
  • Work on projects including social media campaign activations, social experiential moments, social creative strategy, content capture among other inspiring moments in culture.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Be a leader and a positive team member, work cross-functionally with our teams across our global platforms, and oversee and direct a team of designers on our global creative team.
  • Work cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Editorial, and Marketing teams, as well as agency partners.

  • Ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Eight (8) years of art direction experience with an emphasis on social content

  • Exceptional presentation skills

Information Security Responsibilities
  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Role and Responsibilities
  • Leads, inspires and motivates teams to create and deliver influential, innovative, best-in-class, customer-centric solutions that drive business goals

  • Facilitates and oversees creative activities such as experience strategy development, conceptual design, copywriting and art direction, production oversight and concept for photoshoots and video production

  • Ensures digital designs meet the needs of development and technical teams to ensure feasibility and digital design best practices (mobile first design, etc.)
  • Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams and partners closely with clients to establish strategy, and align goals with tactics
  • Facilitates and oversees discovery activities such as design workshops, stakeholder interviews, expert reviews, competitive reviews, etc.
  • Leads and coaches direct reports to set and work towards career goals, and helps identify training and development needs
  • Contributes to our culture and atmosphere, quality of work, and growth into the next generation of experience designers
  • Supports project management to schedule design activities and deliverables within programs and projects
  • Stays informed on design best practices, trends, and tools, and participates in the local design community

Education and Work Experience
  • B.S./B.A./B.F.A. in graphic design, digital design, visual communication, or other design-related fields
  • 8+ years of experience as a creative professional, with a focus on design, user experience, and storytelling. Consulting/Agency experience is a plus.
  • Background in responsive and mobile design
  • Experience working on platforms like (but not limited to) WordPress, Drupal, Magento, AEM
  • Experience mentoring and managing a team of direct reports
Tools and Software
  • In depth knowledge / proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Sketch, InVision, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Design and Communication Skills
