ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Greet all customers in a friendly, positive manner as they enter the property. Answer phones quickly and courteously, within 3 rings.
• Knowledge of room openings and availability.
• Sell rooms to guests in person and on the telephone, including posting Craigslist ads daily.
• Accurately handle all cash and charge transactions.
• Make cash drops in the safe.
• Keep accurate records of vacant rooms and close out procedures including deposit slips and closing reports, as well as setting alarm.
• Take work orders from residents and process correctly in the system.
• Receive and distribute mail to residents.
• Maintain a clean and inviting office
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months customer service experience
• Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with customers.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Expect to work an 8-hour shift on average, including weekends and holidays 5 days/week.
• Comply with the brand and Company uniform and hygiene policies.

Job Responsibilities
* Handles each customer in a courteous and gracious manner
* Maximize sales by achieving add-on sales and recommendations
* Knowledge of the store's stock; stock varies by store location
* Assists in the upkeep of the store by maintaining store displays and merchandising.
* Assists with inventory and receiving of merchandise
* Replenish backstock to maintain appropriate levels of merchandise on the floor
* Markdown merchandise as needed.
* CSA's may be designated as a Keyholder- Keyholders are assigned the responsibility of having keys to store. They will be trained to close the store - they may not open the store
* Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements
* 1 year + retail sales and/or cash handling experience
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Ability to multitask and problem solve
* TAM Card may be required depending upon location
* Additional Security clearance may be required depending upon location
* Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing May be required depending upon location

*Individuals who are Spanish-language proficient at a conversational level, are encouraged to apply for our Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Spanish/English) position.**
NORC is seeking individuals to work as Customer Service Representatives, internally known as Telephone Interviewers. In this role, you will conduct interviews over the phone with no sales pressure or quotas. Your work will directly contribute to understanding pressing issues such as:
- the cost and access to healthcare,
- the impact of higher education on the labor force,
- and many other topics that inform social policy.
The ideal candidate for this role:
- has good communication skills and basic computer knowledge,
- enjoys speaking with people from diverse backgrounds and professions,
- is looking for a flexible part-time working schedule, and
- is available to work evening hours, weeknights and weekends.
- Gain the cooperation of respondents over the phone in order to complete a survey by being persuasive and appropriately assertive.
- Administer survey using a pre-written script.
- Record survey answers verbatim.
- Maintain neutral and objective communication with respondents.
- Knowledge of Windows, such as sending email or opening and using a web browser to search for information.
- Ability to sit and use a telephone headset, dial phone numbers, use a computer keyboard, and read a script off a standard-size computer monitor for up to four hours continuously.
- Ability to talk on the phone within close proximity of others in a large and potentially loud call center.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

The pay for this position will be $21.68 per hour, which is based on geographic location.
