Position Summary:

RELI Group is seeking a highly capable Cybersecurity Lead to support the Information Security and Privacy Services (ISPS) under the Marketplace System Security and Privacy Support Services (MSSPSS) contract for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This key leadership role under Task 8 will be responsible for managing and maturing the cybersecurity posture across ACA and NST systems in alignment with CMS policies, NIST standards, and federal risk tolerance. The Cybersecurity Lead will oversee technical execution of cyber initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and integration of cybersecurity operations across Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM), Zero Trust Architecture, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and cyber threat intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution of cybersecurity initiatives under Task 8, ensuring alignment with CMS cybersecurity strategies and risk management policies
  • Coordinate with CMS stakeholders and internal RELI teams to oversee implementation of CDM, Zero Trust, PAM, and threat intelligence functions
  • Develop cybersecurity roadmaps, technical guidance, and stakeholder-facing documentation that supports security operations and strategy
  • Manage compliance with NIST SP 800-53, CMS ARS 5.0, and applicable cybersecurity and privacy laws and policies
  • Review vulnerability and threat data and oversee prioritization and resolution activities
  • Drive proactive cyber risk management and recommend enhancements to system architecture, policies, and operational processes
  • Represent RELI in meetings with CMS COR, GTL, ISSOs, and ADOs, and contribute to audit readiness, ATO support, and cybersecurity reporting
  • Support reporting, dashboard development, and data calls related to cyber posture, incident response, and executive briefings


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity
  • Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, RMF, CDM, Zero Trust, PAM, and cybersecurity operations
  • Experience overseeing cybersecurity initiatives in federal environments, preferably CMS or HHS
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate policy into operational action
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing executives and technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Nessus, or other cyber monitoring platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting CMS CCIIO or ACA-related systems
  • Familiarity with CMS ARS 5.0, IS2P2, and CMS TRA
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
  • Understanding of cyber threat intelligence frameworks and FISMA metrics
  • Hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust and PAM solutions in enterprise environments

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $110,000 to $220,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Responsibilities

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At EverWatch, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We're looking for a cybersecurity analyst like you to apply your experience with preventing and detecting cyber threats and impact our nation's security.

In this role, you'll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the Intelligence Community.

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership/commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for our client. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

Qualifications

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Information Security Analyst, or in a related security role
  • Experience with security monitoring tools, such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software, and vulnerability management tools
  • Experience with security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, or Metasploit
  • Knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies
  • Knowledge of operating systems and network protocols
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS Diploma or GED
Nice if You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Information Security Analyst, or in a related security role
  • Experience with cloud security platforms and tools
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools for security tasks
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or CompTIA Security+


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,143.26 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,143.26 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits. We looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to assist in our continued growth.

Position Summary:

  • Formalize and deliver security product tuning requests to improve detection capabilities and overall efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain incident response use incidents, knowledge base articles, and other relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate basic forensics activities as needed.
  • Conduct after action reviews on high impact and otherwise noteworthy incidents to identify process and human capital improvements.
  • Aid in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
  • Drive and Implement continuous improvement, open communication, and sharing of knowledge.
  • Assist with creation, review, and upkeep of internal documentation.
  • Facilitate reasonable out-of-hours communications such as company email and occasional SOC operations related phone calls to resolve escalated issues.
  • Actively influence team collaboration, cross-training, and documentation.
  • Act as a primary subject matter expert for one or more security products.
  • Act as initial escalation point for complicated or sensitive work.
  • Identify and resolve opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Proactively propose improvements for how to reduce risk and potential future incidents.
  • Maintain high-level of expertise with products in use and the ability to quickly familiarize with related technologies.
  • FLSA Status: Exempt/Salaried.
What it takes to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Certified in one or more "intermediate level" security certifications+
  • 3 years' experience performing similar duties.
Universal Requirements:
  • Ability to work in an operational/shift-based environment with flexible working hours to include evenings and weekends.
  • Demonstrated experience with the security industry including an understanding of best practices, risk mitigation, and compliance frameworks.
  • Able to function effectively in high stakes and high stress situations.
  • Legally capable of working in the US or EU or APAC regions as designated.
  • Passionate about cybersecurity and self-driven to continue to learn/develop relevant skillsets as well as maintain industry specific certifications.
  • Ability to quickly find answers to questions referencing manuals and/or Internet resources.
  • Fluent in English in both writing and speech (i.e. writing, reading, speaking, and understanding) possessing the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts with end customers.
