**Position Description**
Serco is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Immersive Missions and Training Solutions teams collateral programs in Albuquerque, NM.
This position will support the ISSM in securing systems that support collateral business operations at the Albuquerque, NM facility. You will lead cybersecurity policy implementation, conduct risk assessments, and support system certification and accreditation activities.
In this role, you will:
+ Conduct system and network assessments to identify security deviations from policy or acceptable configurations.
+ Perform compliance audits and vulnerability assessments to support cybersecurity objectives.
+ Support program control processes to ensure risk mitigation and accreditation readiness.
+ Assist in the implementation of DoD security policies and related standards (e.g., DoDI, NIST 800-53) and recommend process enhancements.
+ Validate security requirements and recommend safeguards.
+ Support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities and document results.
+ Prepare and maintain Security Plans and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
+ Oversee periodic reviews of system audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
+ High school diploma with 5 years of cybersecurity and/or Information Assurance (IA) experience.
+ OR a Bachelor's degree with 3 years cybersecurity experience.
+ Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
+ A foundation in security audits, system assessments, and policy compliance.
+ IAM I or IAT II certification.
+ Experience supporting cybersecurity documentation and accreditation processes.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Experience with vulnerability scanning (ACAS, Nessus, etc.)
+ Ability to work on-site in Albuquerque, NM
+ Ability to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)

TITANS Cybersecurity (also known as the Center for Cyber Defenders or CCD) is seeking students who want to have a career in cybersecurity. We are focused on developing the next generation of experts in the field of computer security from the software stack down to microelectronic hardware components. You will use your foundational computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, math, analytics, and data science skills, but your work will be directed to cybersecurity topics.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Conducts ongoing vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify cybersecurity risks in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DOE), and Intelligence Community (IC) standards, regulations, and cybersecurity policies/procedures.
+ Drives improvements necessary to mitigate those risks.
+ Implement cybersecurity requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), routers, firewalls, and related network devices which typically requires experience with Cisco IOS.
+ Builds and implements workstations and servers running multiple operating systems such as Windows 11, Windows Server, and RedHat Linux.
+ Builds and implements virtualization infrastructure using tools such as VMware or HyperV.
+ Monitors multiple company information systems for indicators of compromise (IoC) to identify insider threats and potential espionage activity.

The Southwest Division (SWD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join our Albuquerque, NM. security team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the classified information security program; developing and implementing information security policies, standards and procedures. The ISSM will support Information System (IS) full life cycle activities including preparing accreditation/certification packages in accordance with relevant regulations and standards, maintenance and monitoring of operational systems, system upgrades and feature additions during program execution, and system decommission and de-certification activities.
The ISSM must have experience in developing Risk Management Facility (RMF) accreditation packages to ensure IS’s are operated and maintained in accordance with ARA and customer security requirements. The ISSM will maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) certifications for networked systems and ARA applications by developing IS documentation including the executive summary, system security plan, privacy plan, security control assessment, privacy control assessment, risk assessments, equipment specifications, and any relevant plans of action and milestones.
The ability to work independently, as well as with teammates, is paramount for this position as it is an extremely dynamic environment. A successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills who takes the initiative and creates decisive paths to complete tasks. The ISSM should have experience with security assessments & hardening tools; possess strong understanding of operating systems (Windows and Linux); have or be able to obtain Security + certification and have a working knowledge of eMASS applications.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 (Dependent on experience)
Basic Qualifications:
- SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance
- Position requires a minimum of five to seven years of related experience.
- Previous experience as an ISSO/ISSM is required.
- DoD Directive 8570.1 IAM Level II or higher certification.
- Familiar with the 32 CFR Part 117, DAAG, NIST RMF, DoDM , and/or JSIG IS requirements.
- Experience investigating security incidents to include data spills, data integrity incidents and malicious code incidents
- Experience with compliance certifications of various operating systems.
- Experience with Windows and Server as well as Linux/Unix-based systems.
- 5 - 7 years: Relevant work experience
