Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Cyber Defense Incident Response professional to join the team. This position will be responsible for senior-level alert investigation and remediation, at times interfacing with users to assist them with reports of suspicious or malicious activity and serve as the first line of defense for the organization. They will maintain responsibility for incident confirmation, response, data collection, and investigation, and will work with IT administrators to develop and deliver solutions to gain visibility of security events within the environment. They will build new or tune existing event correlation, reporting, and remediation capabilities based on advanced monitoring use cases, external threat intelligence, and known traffic patterns, also identify new or develop existing data integration points to improve the protective, detective, and response capabilities.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Incident Response experience
- 5+ years in a SOC environment
- Working experience with MITRE Telecommunication&CK TTPs (Defensively or Offensively)
- Basic Reverse-Engineering capabilities
- Ability to analyze memory dumps

**The Role**
We are looking for a **Senior Security Engineer** with deep expertise in Cloud Security across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role will focus on securing cloud environments, managing asset inventory and vulnerabilities, and driving application security and penetration testing initiatives. As a key member of our security team, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in ensuring our cloud-native and distributed systems are secure by design. Based in Draper Utah, this key role will drive key product and application security engineering initiatives for Proofpoint Product portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Cloud Security:** Architect, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
+ **Asset Inventory:** Develop and manage systems to continuously track and secure cloud and on-prem assets.
+ **Penetration Testing:** Plan and conduct internal penetration testing and coordinate with third-party testers.
+ **Automation & Tooling:** Build security tooling and automation to enhance detection and response capabilities.
+ **Collaboration:** Work with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security best practices across services and deployments.
+ **Compliance Support:** Ensure alignment with internal policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
**What You Bring**
+ Experience: 6+ years in cybersecurity, with deep experience in cloud and application security.
+ Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP security tools and architecture.
+ Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge in architecting Cloud Security Controls, building large scale security data pipelines, strong DevSecOps skills and exposure to Infrastructure Security
+ Tools & Languages: Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines/technologies, Splunk platform, and languages such as Python or Go.
+ Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, OSCP) are a plus.
+ Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and educate technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ U.S. Citizen preferred.

This role demands deep technical expertise across all facets of product security and secure software development, including significant experience working in FedRAMP-compliant environments. Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Consultant to support a firewall and network infrastructure consolidation project. The successful candidate will lead the migration from a Cisco-based environment to a consolidated Palo Alto firewall solution. This role requires hands-on experience with Cisco to Palo Alto conversions and strong routing expertise. You will ensure projects meet stringent delivery schedules, technical specifications, and client requirements while upholding Arctiqs commitment to quality.
This role requires flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work and regular travel (up to 50%) to customer sites. Occasional onsite presence will be needed.
Responsibilities:
- Implement pre-approved Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring timely, within-scope delivery of projects while adhering to Arctiqs project management methodology.
- Participate in project kickoff meetings, provide regular status updates, and ensure alignment with client expectations through milestones and deliverables.
- Lead the migration of external/internal firewalls and dedicated routers into a pair of Palo Alto firewalls.
- Perform configuration, testing, and validation of new Palo Alto deployments
- Convert existing Cisco ASA and Cisco Firepower policies to Palo Alto equivalents
- Design and implement OSPF and BGP routing to support the new firewall architecture
- Collaborate with customer teams to ensure a smooth transition and minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues during implementation, escalating to the Manager when necessary to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Monitor project requirements, assess the impact of additional client requests, and notify the Manager and Project Manager for SOW reevaluation if scope creep occurs.
- Provide as-built documentation for completed projects and report weekly on project progress and accomplishments to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all deliverables align with Arctiqs quality standards and the project SOW, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, with regular travel to customer locations and industry events to support client engagements and business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience with Cisco to Palo Alto firewall migrations.
- Strong expertise inCisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, and Cisco routing technologies.
- In-depth knowledge ofPalo Alto firewalls, including configuration and policy management.
- Solid experience withOSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Familiarity with Aruba switching and general network infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Aruba switch environments.
- Palo Alto Networks certifications (e.g., PCNSE).
