Job Description
The Lead, Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) functionally manages the process to protect classified information. The primary responsibility is to lead the implementation of all classified security policies, procedures, and requirements as directed by U.S. Government customers.
This role interprets, outlines, and enforces classified security policies and assures compliance with applicable government regulations. It serves as the subject matter expert for classified systems security processing at the site level and requires excellent leadership skills to organize and manage a small team with support from corporate security management.
Job Duties-
Lead for classified network, TS/SCI, and SAP/SAR activities, including oversight of classified systems activities.

Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in maintaining secure facility accreditations and joint/co-use agreements with government agencies.

Write, coordinate, and conduct classified systems security education briefings (SAP, SCI, CLAN) and user acknowledgment statements.

Maintain records of classified security functions and activities for reporting; conduct investigations as required.

Implement security controls for classified systems, including approvals, re-approvals, decertifications, and audits.

Provide project management, ensuring timelines and milestones are achieved.

**Responsibilities**
+ Performs security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems
+ Carries out project reporting for assigned projects, monitoring project status, timeline and budgets
+ Assists in the planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas
+ Adopts and follows security controls, processes, and procedures to manage risk across all information system environments (infrastructure, network, and applications) with the assistance of the application and infrastructure management teams
+ Monitors technology risk, identifies root cause or key themes, recommends for resolution
+ Investigates suspected attacks and manages security incidents. Uses forensics where appropriate
+ Reviews and shapes the production of evidence to support internal and external audits

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. **Responsibilities**
+ Investigates and responds to security alerts including on-call rotation
+ Supports the development, design, logistics, and facilitation of internal and external cybersecurity exercises
+ Steers the analysis of network traffic and system data to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to resources
+ Delivers cyber incident triage including identifying the specific vulnerability and making recommendations which enable expeditious remediation
+ Conducts vulnerability research activities, gathers information on new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
+ Reports on and suggests solutions for damage to the data and infrastructure as a result of cyber incidents
+ Supports the strategic development of Cyber Security Programs ensuring alignment with the cyber security strategy and develops and improves cyber security procedures owned by the team
+ Manages cyber incident trend analysis and reporting
+ Creates and maintains high quality documentation related to IT processes including flow charts and data flow diagrams
+ Maintains the cybersecurity post-incident after action tracking process

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Three or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
+ US Citizenship Required.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in specialized field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
+ Certifications: CISSP, GISF, GSEC, GCTI.
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills.
+ Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
+ Ability to think critically and maintain thorough and comprehensive documentation.
+ Experience working in a Security Operation Center, Incident Response or Intelligence team.

**Additional Information**
+ This position's work mode is **hybrid.** The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
