In this role you will.
+ Design, implement and operate Network Security solutions.

**Responsibilities**
+ Performs security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium complexity information systems
+ Carries out project reporting for assigned projects, monitoring project status, timeline and budgets
+ Assists in the planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas
+ Adopts and follows security controls, processes, and procedures to manage risk across all information system environments (infrastructure, network, and applications) with the assistance of the application and infrastructure management teams
+ Monitors technology risk, identifies root cause or key themes, recommends for resolution
+ Investigates suspected attacks and manages security incidents. Uses forensics where appropriate
+ Reviews and shapes the production of evidence to support internal and external audits
+ Implements appropriate security measures for information systems and applications that control access to data, and prevents unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information
+ Develops and maintains metrics, alerts, dashboards, and reports for security monitoring
+ Maintains incident response plans and performs incident response activities as directed and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines and those of federal authorities

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Five or more years of experience in information technology, information security and/or cybersecurity.
+ US Citizenship Required.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, or related specialized field. 
+ Three or more years of technology-related experience with specific focus on Network Security.
+ Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts: i.e., threat modelling, incident response, etc.
+ Knowledge and/or certification in SDN Network Security.
+ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and its.
+ Knowledge of Security Standards, Policies and Governance frameworks: i.e., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS.
+ Possess one or more of the following Information Security certifications: CISSP, GSEC, CRISC, CCSK, CISM, GWEB, GCTD, GCFR, GCPN, or similar professional certifications. 
+ Possess one or more Technical or Professional certifications in Network Security: i.e., CCNP, OCSE.
+ Experience in DevOps and Agile methodologies.
+ Experience with Development tooling: i.e., CI/CD pipelines, Git, Ticketing systems.

Additional Information
+ This position's work mode is hybrid. We're looking for a Legal Counsel to join Team Snap! You'll be part of a small, high-impact team that manages Snap's global privacy and cybersecurity programs. What you'll do:
+ Partner closely with Snap's Engineering Security team to provide legal and strategic advice on a range of matters, including vendor due diligence, third party privacy and security assessments, governance, risk and compliance, and privacy and security incident response
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to help develop, improve, and enforce Snap's data security policies, standards, and practices, ensuring they meet global legal requirements

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. As a Journeyman Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the enterprise. This position supports the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of cybersecurity solutions that align with DoD directives, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and mission-specific requirements. Major Job Activities:
+ Understands and implements cybersecurity requirements aligned to overall architecture.
+ Designs, develops, and tests standardized IaC/CaC across BIM.
+ Provides Tier 3 engineering services.
+ Provides expertise in network protection needs assessment, requirements elicitation, security architecture, threat assessment, computer security, communication security, networking, security technologies, hardware and software development, test and evaluation, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and supply chain risk.
+ Provides input to analyses of alternatives and to requirements, engineering, and risk trade-off analyses to achieve a cost-effective security architectural design for protections that enable mission / business success.
+ Conducts security risk management activities, producing related security risk management information, and advising the engineering team and key stakeholders on the security-relevant impact of threats and vulnerabilities to the mission / business supported by the system.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will serve as the lead for securing modernization initiatives across the enterprise. This role is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity solutions that ensure compliance with DoD standards.
