Responsibilities:

• 7+ years solid hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including experience with VMware.
• 5+ years of solid proficiency in Unix Shell scripting, Ansible, Python scripting.
• 4+ years of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and understanding of best practices for building scalable, resource-optimized, and cloud/Kubernetes provider agnostic containerized solutions.
• 5+ years of strong knowledge of SQL language and hands-on experience with multiple Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), HiveQL, Spark.
• Experience in implementing and managing Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth, LDAP, and AD integrations.
• Experience working with AWS/GCP. Certification is preferred.

Chemours is seeking a **Data Science Intern** to join our **Data S** **cience** team! This position will report directly to the **Data Science Team Manager** .
The Data Science Intern will work closely with the Data Science team in helping us create and deploy predictive models to support all functions of the business.
**Location:** Wilmington, DE (remote work available within US)
**Hours:** Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
**Term** **:** 3-month assignment between May-August 2026
**The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:**
+ Developing predictive models using the full range of platform capabilities in Microsoft Azure 
+ Writing data preparation and analysis routines in Python using the pandas and scikit-learn packages 
+ Participating in data set design and statistical modeling discussion
+ Learning how to integrate process control solutions with data science models

• Expertise in Databricks, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and automation scripting (Terraform, Bash, or similar).

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect.

• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and governance best practices.

• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
