**Overview**
The right candidate will be responsible to support and maintain complex BI environment built on Netezza / MicroStrategy platform. Prior Retail experience is a plus. Must have the ability to contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including providing programming support, preparing functional and technical documentation, testing, coordinate user acceptance, and production rollout. Must have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to develop reports that can be tailored to business requirements using PowerBI. Provide leadership on best practices and help the organization with the new roadmap and adoption of visualization tools.
**A Day in the Life**
+ Work with business stakeholders to support/develop reports in MicroStrategy and provide an approach to transition reports into PowerBI.
+ Lead report development task in both Microstrategy & PowerBI. Work with business stakeholders through requirement discussions and report delivery.
+ Assist in resolving production issues and meet pre-defined SLAs for system availability.
+ Experienced working within an agile framework, including participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and delivering working software in short iterations.
+ Develop efficient and effective solutions for complex business problems that meet expectations.
+ Ensured data integrity and consistency across various reporting tools.
+ Demonstrate experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications, working with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into effective BI solutions.
**To be Successful You will Possess**
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Foreign Equivalent
Experience:
+ 12+ years of Information Technology experience
+ 7+ years of experience with Microstrategy, Netezza, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence domain.
Skills and Abilities:
+ Ability to lead and problem solve reporting development task using the tools.
+ Proficient in SQL and data reporting
+ Strong understanding of design thinking & advanced problem-solving techniques
+ Strong background in structured systems and data analysis
