Job Description
As the Zero Waste Process Improvement Specialist- Payments and Data Analysis, US Donations or Recycle, you will be the primary point of contact for payments, purchase orders, and funding approvals. You will monitor incoming vendor disputes to process, monitor escalations or inquiries from vendors and internal teams. You will also identify continuous improvement by diving into recycling and donations data to identify trends and surface opportunities to reduce costs, increase recovery, or invent and simplify our business. You will also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across external vendors and internal operations, ACES, product, tech and finance teams. Lastly, you will be able to dive deep into data to find new opportunities to escalate roadblocks and risks to both business and external vendors.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and optimize the team's standard work programs including data management/queries, cost optimization (transportation, grants, disposal charges, and sorting fees), waste reporting, and inventory tracking
- Process and track all purchase orders (POs), pre-approved spending requests, invoices, funding requests, ect
- Audit vendor reporting and reconciliation to surface trends and outlier data
- Monitor and report on revenue metrics and track commodity rates
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) responsibilities
- Drive process automation and standardization initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate project tracking and status updates through Asana, ensuring timeline adherence and stakeholder communication
- Be able to rule SQL queries in Hubble to run reports related to ship method, removals or other inquires
A day in the life
You will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Site Operations, Finance, Product, Tech organizations. You will also get to work with external vendors, who are business-2-business (B2B) vendors of Amazon. Your work is dynamic in nature, works at scale across the network, and has both standard work and proactive projects. We have big true north goals, where you work daily on finding ways to proactively achieve them. Lastly, you will dive deep into business performance, input and defect metrics for your business to find ways to drive continuous improvement.
About the team
As a member of the US Recycle, Donations, and Zero Waste team, you will get to work in a team environment, where everyone works to support one another to achieve our goals of zero cost of returns and zero waste. While you will have your own goals and objectives, we tend to work collaboratively as necessary and have mechanisms in place to track your projects, goals and business performance.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Experience with large scale data analysis with a history of identifying trends and inventing and simplifying mechanisms
- Experience gaining funding approvals, pre-approved spending requests, and invoice generation
- Analytical skills with experience using Excel (analysis using aggregate functions and pivot table)
- Good communication skills both verbal and writing (ability to communicate clear and coherent narratives)
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 65%)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or product management experience with a focus on payments, invoicing and data analysis
- Advanced Excel (Macros/VBA)
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Knowledge of visualization tools like QuickSight, Tableau etc.
- Experience in mixed material recycling or nonprofit support

The USDS-Platform and Community Integrity (PaCI) team is missioned to:
- Protect U.S. TikTok users, including and beyond content consumers, creators, advertisers;
- Secure platform health and community experience authenticity;

The PaCI team works to minimize the damage of inauthentic behaviors on TikTok platforms, covering multiple classical and novel community and business risk areas such as account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti-spam, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security and financial safety, etc. In this team, you'll have a unique opportunity to have first-hand exposure to the strategy of the company in key security initiatives, especially in building scalable and robust, intelligent and privacy-safe, secure, and product-friendly systems and solutions. Our challenges are not some regular day-to-day technical puzzles -- You'll be part of a team that's developing novel solutions to first-seen challenges of a non-stop evolution of a phenomenal product eco-system. The work needs to be fast, transferrable, while still down to the ground to make quick and solid differences.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. Responsibilities:
- Build machine learning solutions to respond to and mitigate business risks in TikTok products/platforms. Such risks include and are not limited to abusive accounts, fake engagements, spammy redirection, scraping, fraud, etc.
- Improve modeling infrastructures, labels, features and algorithms towards robustness, automation and generalization, reduce modeling and operational load on risk adversaries and new product/risk ramping-ups.
- Uplevel risk machine learning excellence on privacy/compliance, interpretability, risk perception and analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Master or above degree in computer science, statistics, or other relevant, machine-learning-heavy majors.
- Solid engineering skills. Proficiency in at least two of: Linux, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Storm.
- Strong machine learning background. Proficiency or publications in modern machine learning theories and applications such as deep neural nets, transfer/multi-task learning, reinforcement learning, time series or graph unsupervised learning.
- Ability to think critically, objectively, rationally. Reason and communicate in result-oriented, data-driven manner. High autonomy.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137750 - $37500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. As a Sr Business Analysis Manager Data Engineer for Media Intelligence & Automation, you'll play a key role in designing and building the foundational datasets that drive strategic insight, investment optimization, and accurate attribution across paid media channels. In this role, you'll lead the development of robust, high-performance data pipelines that integrate and transform raw data from multiple delivery sources into clean, enriched, and unified datasets within our Azure-based data lakehouse architecture. In this role:
As a Program Manager Training & Readiness , you will lead the coordination and execution of internal training programs aimed at enabling delivery partners across a growing ecosystem. Your work will involve close collaboration with product stakeholders and learning and development teams to manage content creation, streamline publishing processes, and ensure the successful delivery of training sessions. Youll play a critical role in scaling readiness efforts, supporting both new and existing partners through structured, high-impact learning experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary liaison between delivery partner communities, product stakeholders, and learning & development teams to understand training needs.
Own and manage training programs end-to-endfrom content sourcing to final publication and delivery.
Coordinate with product stakeholders to source and validate relevant content.
Follow up with content contributors to ensure timely development and review of training materials.
Collaborate with the L&D team to formalize and publish training content on internal platforms (e.g., Cloud Academy or similar).
Schedule and oversee training sessions, ensuring all logistics are in place and sessions meet quality standards.
Prepare engaging, informative presentations and support materials for training events.
Drive continuous improvement of the training delivery process based on feedback and participation metrics.
Required Qualifications810 years of total professional experience , including:
59 years of project management or program coordination experience, ideally in a training or enablement context.
58 years of hands-on experience using tools like Rise, Articulate , or equivalent to create and publish training content.
57 years of experience preparing presentations, decks, and written training materials .
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven track record of owning and delivering large-scale programs independently.
Preferred QualificationsExperience publishing content on corporate learning platforms such as Cloud Academy, LMS365, or other enterprise learning systems .
Background in adult learning principles, instructional design, or enablement strategy.
Prior experience working with distributed or partner ecosystems is a plus.
Familiarity with agile or iterative project management methodologies.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $100,000 to $110,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
