Required Qualifications:

The OT Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving data visualization, transformation initiatives, and project management efforts to support operational excellence. Our Team

The KAES PI Team specializes in managing, optimizing, and supporting the Aveva PI System-a powerful data infrastructure and real-time data historian used across Koch's operations. This team:

  • Collects, monitors, and analyzes operational data to improve decision-making and operational performance.
  • Ensures the integrity, availability, and security of data within the PI System.
  • Collaborates with business units and IT teams to develop custom dashboards, reports, and alerts that drive process improvements.
  • Supports integration of PI data with other enterprise systems to enable comprehensive insights and automation.
  • Provides training and technical support to users leveraging the PI System.

Their work enables Koch to harness operational data effectively, leading to enhanced reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Relationship Building: Serve as a trusted resource for opinions, ideas, and project support aligned with company initiatives. Foster collaboration by assisting teams with relevant projects.
  • Project Management: Develop clear project goals, requirements, and timelines. Communicate project status, roadblocks, and resource needs effectively. Guide projects from inception through completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Improve delegation and resource utilization.

  • PI Vision Owner: Ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience for all dashboards as a unified application. Validate data and support public-facing dashboards for continuity and accuracy. Manage migrations to production environments. Continuously improve existing dashboards for usability and effectiveness.
  • PI Vision Developer: Collaborate with end users to design and develop insightful, impactful dashboards. Organize and maintain dashboards with meaningful structure for ease of navigation and searching. Be recognized as a key resource sought early in project efforts.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Ingest data into PI AF/PI Vision from diverse equipment and software platforms such as: Ignition SCADA software, PLCs, electrical equipment, and online analyzers.
    • Support health monitoring, alerting, lifecycle management, and reliability initiatives by providing enhanced data visibility and tools.
    • Work collaboratively with our Monitoring & Diagnostics, electrical, operations, and other teams to increase reliability.
    • Streamline adoption and use of PI Vision tools by internal customers.
    • Delivery of profitable and sustainable operational data solutions. Easy-to-navigate, cohesive dashboard experience with reliable data validation. Successful project completions that meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience managing software projects
  • Ability to travel up to up to 15% of the time.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 3 to 5 years of professional work experience
  • Experience with AVEVA PI: PI AF, PI Vision and Inductive Automation Ignition platforms
  • PMP, Agile, PI System Specialist certifications add value
