About the Position
The incumbent will be for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support the strategic sourcing department's goals and decision-making processes. This role involves designing and maintaining data models, creating dashboards and reports, and delivering data-driven recommendations to enhance sourcing efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.

- Provide regular and ad hoc reports to the Sourcing Director and other stakeholders, summarizing findings and trends.
- Automate data visualization and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Manage databases and ensure the integrity and security of procurement and supplier-related data.
- Work closely with sourcing managers, specialists, and other departments to understand their data and reporting needs.
- Act as a data liaison, ensuring stakeholders understand analytical insights and how to use them effectively.
- Support strategic projects by providing data-driven recommendations and insights.
Key Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of strategic sourcing processes, procedures, and contracts.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing sources/costs (materials, commodities, labor, facilities, special technologies, manufacturing processes and services).
- Experience in hospitality procurement or related industries is a strong advantage.
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple initiatives at once.
- Must have highly developed communication and relationship skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and extremely skilled at managing financial data.
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal oversight.
- Builds and manages strong relationships with multiple competing suppliers, optimizing performance within category segments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced certifications in analytics or business intelligence (e.g., Tableau Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, preferably within sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functions.
- Proven experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Position Summary:
As part of the Enterprise BI Solutions team, the BI Data Analyst will assist RCG business stakeholders and team members in developing end to end BI solutions, defining data requirements, and project scope. This role will also provide ongoing BI Solutions development and BI systems admin support as needed, ensuring development best practice and optimal performance. The analyst will also perform related duties including user access and workspace management. Additionally, they will contribute to targeted Enterprise BI development projects, providing ongoing support and enhancements to ensure that solutions remain effective and aligned with organizational goals. The analyst will participate and contribute to RCG's BI Center of Excellence, by sharing best practices, provide user training, contribute to CoE communications and staying up to date and informed about emerging BI/AI trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- BI Report, Dashboard & Data Development: Assist internal stakeholders in understanding their BI and data needs, aligning priorities with business objectives. Support the development of dashboards, routine reports, automated reporting tools, ad-hoc reports, and critical business analytics essential for data-driven decision-making and insights.
- Strategic Insights/Opportunities: Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify opportunities where BI solutions can enhance strategic decision-making, improve revenue, reduce cost and streamline operations, as well as support the implementation of BI/Analytic solutions tailored to business needs.

SUMMARY: The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of data analysis, from meeting with stakeholders to define and gather requirements through the delivery of insightful and actionable analytics. The analyst is tasked with building/reporting of KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, statistical models, and ad hoc analytics to ensure that business processes are conducted in a controlled and efficient manner. Extraction, cleansing, and transformation of data are all necessary functions to aid the analyst in the maintenance of established reporting as well as in the creation of ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested by the Office of Strategic Initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Production of dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, executive decks, and exception tracking reports on a routine basis. Must be quick at understanding various critical business processes and must be able to interpret data related to these processes to make decisions and root out data integrity issues.
- Determine and create optimal graphical display for critical measures, producing graphics and dashboard formats to accurately and professionally convey process performance.
- Develop streamlined and automated approaches for gathering and delivering data, thereby reducing manual business processes where possible.
- Development of models to predict future volume and capacity needs.
- Structuring of data to support drill down analyses on process performance.
- Analyze reporting requirements, extract and interpret data, and ultimately provide recommendations to management.
- Participate in project teams and provide guidance on relevant metrics to support production needs.
- Lead special projects as assigned, working closely with IT to develop data structures when needed for reporting.
- Work with subject matter experts to discover, define, assess, and document business needs and requirements.
- Must possess the ability to clearly document reporting logic and processes for auditability.
- Automation of data transformation and production of analytics via Python coding.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related analytical field (ie Management information systems, engineering, math/statistics, data science or computer science) preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in an analytical capacity in conjunction with the development/maintenance of a reporting library required.
- 5+ years working closely with IT to develop robust reporting data structures within a data warehouse required
- 5+ years writing complex SQL queries (eg, CTEs, correlated subqueries, complex aggregations.) required
- 5+ years developing reports from a leading business intelligence platform such as SSRS, Business Objects, or OBIEE required
- Extensive experience with visual dashboarding tool required (Tableau or QuickSight preferred but Qlik, Microstrategy, ThoughtSpot, PowerBI or similar tool will be considered)
- 2+ years of experience programming in Python or R required
- Experience coding with AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) preferred
- Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Excel required
- Banking and/or financial services industry experience is a plus
- Experience reporting in AWS cloud environment, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required
- Familiarity of Salesforce and underlying data structures is preferred
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL Server or Oracle is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Knowledge and/or experience in predictive modeling and machine learning.
- Knowledge of code promotion via Github preferred
