Position Summary
The New York Red Bulls are seeking a strategic and analytically-driven Director of Business Intelligence, CRM, and Data Analytics to lead our data initiatives and transform how we understand and engage with our fans, optimize business operations, and drive revenue growth. This role will be instrumental in building a comprehensive data ecosystem that supports decision-making across all areas of the organization, from fan engagement and ticket sales to sponsorship activation and operational efficiency.
Job Description
Data Strategy & Analytics Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational goals and MLS/Red Bull Global initiatives
- Lead the creation of predictive models and advanced analytics to drive fan acquisition, retention, and revenue optimization
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics frameworks across all business units
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership through data-driven analysis
- Oversee all CRM platforms and systems, ensuring optimal fan data collection, segmentation, and activation
- Design and implement customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing strategies
- Develop fan personas and behavioral analytics to enhance personalization and targeting
- Manage customer data integration across multiple touchpoints including ticketing, merchandise, digital platforms, and venue experiences
- Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting infrastructure for all departments
- Create automated reporting systems for sales performance, fan engagement, sponsorship ROI, and operational metrics
- Develop real-time analytics capabilities for matchday operations and fan experience optimization
- Establish data governance standards and ensure data quality across all systems
- Foster a data-driven culture throughout the organization through training and consultation
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure robust data infrastructure and security
- Manage department budget and resource allocation for analytics tools and platforms
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Fan Experience teams to identify analytical opportunities
- Work closely with MLS and Red Bull Global data teams to leverage shared resources and best practices
- Support sponsorship teams with data-driven insights for partner activation and measurement
- Collaborate with coaching staff and soccer operations on performance analytics (as applicable)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or CRM management
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing analytical teams
- Experience in sports, entertainment, or consumer-facing industries preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages
- Expert knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)

Additional Information
Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, you may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified. The Data Infrastructure & Analytics team builds foundational datasets and analytics services that enable BI and data science across CoreWeave. We seek to democratize insights and foster a culture where data-driven decision-making thrives at every level.
About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you'll own our executive reporting capabilities, define and implement data visualization standards, and ensure our senior leadership and stakeholders have clear, insightful, and actionable information. You'll collaborate closely with data engineering, data science, product, finance, and operational teams, using your expert visualization and analysis skills to elevate data-driven decision-making across the company.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Establish and enforce data visualization and analysis standards across the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their reporting needs and translate them into robust and scalable BI solutions.
- Own end-to-end BI solutions, including data modeling, visualization, and distribution.
- Continuously improve existing BI tools and infrastructure, driving efficiency and consistency in executive reporting.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and relevance, enabling timely strategic decisions.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, complex, work environment and you love tackling hard problems.
- Expert proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tools (Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Expertise querying MPP databases for analytics (StarRocks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
- Advanced SQL skills, with a strong ability to write, optimize, and debug complex queries.
- 2+ years of scripting experience in Python, R, Scala, or Julia.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to create compelling, clear visualizations and dashboards tailored for senior executives and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Airflow for batch orchestration distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Flink is a plus.

The base salary range for this role is $109,000 to $145,000 . The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
