The Senior Information Security Analyst will lead the team in the research, design, and integrate information security solutions and controls across the enterprise in a way that is transparent to end users, supports executive strategies, and fundamentally ensures the security of the information entrusted to IT to protect. They will respond to security alerts generated in security tooling, driving the incident response process to completion.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelors Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualifications with equivalent experience may be leveraged instead of degree.
  • Five (5) years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
  • A certification in the security field (CISA/CISSP/CCSP/CEH/ OSCP/AWS) preferred.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000 series, COBIT, etc.
  • Experience with the functionality, operation, and maintenance of firewalls and various forms of endpoint security.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
  • Experience in managing or primarily contributing to at least one impactful information security project.
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest cyber security trends and hacker tactics.
  • Must be able to prioritize and quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems using a wide variety of tools.
  • Respond to emergency situations effectively, maintaining poise and focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effectively communicate technical issues to System administrators in a clear, comprehensible manner.
  • Commitment to quality and solution-oriented service.
  • Various Industry Standard and Cisco security product certifications a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Data Protection Engineer will enhance cybersecurity posture by focusing on tactical data protection operations, automation, and tool development to safeguard sensitive information. This role will prioritize securing email systems, endpoints, and other critical platforms while driving proactive data protection strategies aligned with client's cybersecurity objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for automation, and the ability to design and implement innovative solutions to protect sensitive data and applications in dynamic environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience implementing and managing DLP tools and configuring data protection policies in corporate environments.

**Required Qualifications**
+ 7+ years of steady career progression with information security work experience

+ 5+ years of experience in leading data security and privacy frameworks.
+ 5+ years of recent personnel management experience with oversight of five or more direct reports.
+ 5+ years of leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. **The Role at a Glance**
This position will be responsible for data protection technology and platform delivery, and operational tasks within a core infrastructure organization. This specialist position will perform and deliver on routine data protection implementation and support assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge to administer the data protection infrastructure and service portfolio.
**What you'll be doing**
+ Responsible for the engineering delivery of initiatives and operational support tasks related to the enterprise data protection technologies and platforms. This includes installation, configuration, and sustainment of Dell Power Protect Data Manager (PPDM), Dell Networker backup and Dell Cyber Vault recovery software platforms.
+ Responsible for troubleshooting enterprise data protection infrastructure, services, backup system(s) network connectivity, and performance issues to resolution, completely and accurately documenting all work activity in the organizations problem tracking system. This includes Tier II incident and problem management executing within our ServiceNow incident, problem and change management system.
+ Responsible for reviewing, identifying, and escalating required issues and incidents to the vendor, when required to ensure the most expedient resolution for the business, capturing and documenting all learnings to build and expand our process and incorporate into the data protection service delivery and operations.
+ Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for data protection technologies and platforms and assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
+ Promotes and enhances data protection and core infrastructure organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
+ Performs and delivers on routine data protection assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of their assigned area(s) of responsibility including operational stability and capacity management. This includes working directly with the IT Service Desk, infrastructure, and business support teams to validate, confirm and assess data protection infrastructure and functionality.
+ Identifies and communicates to data protection, management process improvements, cost optimization ideas and tactics that will reduce workloads or improve quality for the data backup and recovery functionality.

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with **anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range** and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.
