Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of test-and-learn experiments, including A/B testing, matched market tests, and synthetic control methods.
- Apply causal inference frameworks (DiD, panel regression, propensity score matching, synthetic control, time series analysis) to quantify the impact of pricing, promotions, product launches, and operational changes.
- Lead the measurement of incremental lift for promotions and new menu items, accounting for cannibalization and long-term effects.
- Work with customer-level data to uncover insights on customer behavior, purchase patterns and loyalty drivers.
- Build analytical tools and dashboards to democratize insights and support faster decision-making.
- Coach and mentor analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and business impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in applied analytics, preferably in QSR, CPG, or retail.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Demonstrated expertise in causal inference techniques (DiD, fixed effects models, matching methods).
- Experience with A/B testing design, execution, and interpretation.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with revenue growth management, pricing analytics, or marketing measurement.
- Experience with using clickstream data to understand digital customer journey.

Qualifications:

The Senior Program Manager, Analytics & Data Science leads our portfolio of internally developed ML/AI solutions at US Foods. This role owns the full solution lifecycle-from research through deployment-ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to business priorities. The PM acts as a central coordination hub across the Analytics & Data Science (ADS) team, business stakeholders, and our Digital & Technology partners, driving cross-functional alignment, managing dependencies, and ensuring consistent execution.
This role is critical to scaling our impact by ensuring our most strategic AI initiatives are well-managed and deliver measurable business outcomes.
This position is remote which means the work is completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Own end-to-end delivery of analytics and ML/AI initiatives across business domains, from concept through deployment and measurement
+ Partner closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Digital & Technology partners, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
+ Develop and manage roadmaps, project plans, and delivery cadences for high-priority initiatives
+ Define and evolve portfolio management processes, including intake, prioritization, tracking, and reporting
+ Anticipate and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and maintain delivery momentum
+ Maintain a clear view of dependencies, resourcing, and delivery timelines
+ Create and maintain executive-ready status reports and communications and ensure regular engagement and alignment with business sponsors and executive stakeholders
+ Serve as a trusted thought partner to the SVP, helping align team efforts with overall strategy

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 6+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally in data science, analytics, or enterprise software
+ Experience managing multiple concurrent programs with technical and business complexity
+ Strong technical fluency-comfortable engaging in conversations on machine learning concepts, data infrastructure, cloud environments, and agile methodologies
+ Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional programs
+ Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
+ Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Airtable, or Smartsheet, and project/portfolio dashboards
**EDUCATION**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field (STEM, business, or similar)

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with guided Internet collection.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Machine Learning Architect is responsible for designing, optimizing, securing, and documenting enterprise-scale AI and data systems for the end-to-end technical integrity, performance, and reliability. This includes system-level performance tuning, robust ML infrastructure, and cloud architecture. The role ensures that all AI workflows meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, and operational excellence, while enabling innovation through AI technologies and best practices. This role is critical in bridging deep technical expertise with enterprise-scale AI execution, ensuring that AI systems are not only powerful but also reliable, secure, and future-ready.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System Design and Implementation

-Design and implement scalable, high-performance architectures for machine learning, data science, and AI workflows.

• Develop programs to automate workflows, deployments, and monitoring for improved operational efficiency.

• Optimize GPU utilization and performance using CUDA and algorithmic optimization to accelerate machine learning workloads.

System Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Linux servers, networks, GPUs, cluster health, job failures, and performance bottlenecks to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

• Drive performance improvements across ML pipelines, inference engines, model serving frameworks (e.g., Triton, vLLM), and data processing layers.

• Develop and maintain reliable AI workflows with robust failover mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted operations in production environments.

Security and Compliance

• Implement enterprise-grade IAM authentication and authorization with Azure SSO, OIDC, Kerberos, and Active Directory, for ML APIs, model endpoints, and data platforms.

Migration and Integration

• Migrate existing AI applications on Cloudera Hadoop/Hive/Spark to Azure cloud services, ensuring data integrity, performance tuning, and validation.

Documentation and Collaboration

• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting knowledge bases to support knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, Big Data, system clustering, and enterprise security, and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Deep expertise in AI technologies, synthetic data, automation, advanced analytics.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, ML infrastructure, and performance optimization.

• Proficiency in Linux, clustering, and distributed systems.

• Expertise in GPU monitoring, GPU scheduling, CUDA, algorithmic optimization, and parallel computing.

• Proficiency in languages such as shell, Ansible, C/C++, Golang, Java, and Python for automating workflows, deployments, and monitoring.

• Deep understanding of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, LLMs, vector databases, and AI platforms (e.g., Pytorch, Huggingface).

• Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting knowledge bases.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve system failures and performance bottlenecks.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale AI product portfolios (preferably in top-tier financial services), including successful AI transformations in highly regulated environments.

• Deep understanding of banking, operations, risk, and compliance—pairing technical fluency with business and regulatory acumen.

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and migration of Big Data into Azure cloud services.

• Experience in cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS), Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized ML workflows.

• Experience in implementing secure systems with secure API design, IAM integration, Kerberos, Active Directory, and Azure SSO.
