Work you'll do Core responsibilities:
+ Lead the design, development, and implementation of GenAI models & agents
+ Manage the creation & maintenance of intuitive and engaging UI/UX for analytics tools and applications
+ Develop timelines, milestones, and metrics to effectively plan and execute projects

QualificationsRequired:
+ Bachelor's degree in AI / Data Science or a related subject

**A Day in the Life**
In this role, you will drive the strategic development of scalable AI and MLOps platforms for defect inspection and visual process monitoring across Medtronic's diverse product portfolio. As an **AI Data Science Research Specialist** in 3M's Corporate Research Laboratory, you will work on a team developing novel learning system frameworks. As a Sr. Manager of Data Science and GenAI at Post Consumer Brands, you will lead the charge in transforming data into strategic insights and next-generation solutions. You'll guide a team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, and collaborate across departments to drive adoption of GenAI and advanced analytics. This is a high-impact role for a visionary leader who combines technical depth with the ability to influence and inspire.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Lead Data Science Strategy & Execution** Translate complex business problems into analytical frameworks. Build and scale data science capabilities across PCB, leveraging tools and standards from Post Holdings.
+ **Champion GenAI Innovation** Stay ahead of emerging GenAI trends and technologies. Identify high-impact use cases and lead the design, development, and deployment of generative AI models that drive measurable business outcomes.
+ **Influence & Evangelize Across the Organization** Partner with senior leaders in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to prioritize opportunities and influence strategic decisions. Communicate the value of data science and GenAI in clear, compelling ways to drive adoption and alignment.
+ **Build & Mentor a High-Performing Team** Lead a team of data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to grow technical talent.
+ **Drive Operational Excellence** Manage resources and project prioritization to align with company strategy. Oversee ML Ops, model deployment, and post-mortem analyses to ensure accuracy and continuous improvement.
+ **Develop & Communicate Insights** Create intuitive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or Power BI. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.

**Qualifications**
+ Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and generative AI technologies
+ Strong track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership
+ Experience leading end-to-end data science projects from ideation to deployment
+ Familiarity with ML Ops, model evaluation, and data visualization tools

**Qualifications**
**Education:** Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and advanced degree preferred (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative subject a plus) or seven to 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Experience:**
+ CPG experience preferred.
+ 6-8 years of proven experience leading collaborative data science projects with technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving and communicating tangible business value succinctly
+ 4-6 years of development experience in an object-oriented programming language (Python 3.x preferred). Knowledge of software design (libraries, classes, functions), testing (logging, debugging), and versioning (Git, continuous deployment)
+ Experience building products that use or incorporate Large Language Models.
+ Experience with machine learning platforms and cloud computing, e.g., Microsoft Azure ML (preferred), Amazon SageMaker, Google Vertex AI
+ Demonstrated expertise in open-source libraries for advanced data analysis, statistical/machine learning models, and optimization, e.g. Pandas, Sci-Kit learn, Scipy, and OR Tools for Python
+ 4-6 years of experience designing solutions with business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization software packages (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Looker, Cognos, R Shiny, D3, Python matplotlib)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to concisely convey analytical interpretation and/or data issues to business functions.
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and follow-through on committed deliverables using team-based project management with both Agile and Waterfall approaches to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
+ Complex relational database development, maintenance, and exception testing experience (Snowflake, Oracle, etc.).
The pay range for this position is $113,987 - $177,820 per year.
