We are seeking an experienced Markets Intelligence and Predictive Analytics professional to join our team and drive the utilization of data across the organization.
As a VP II, Markets Intelligence and Predictive Analytics you will:
- Utilize advanced analytic techniques including machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve decision making
- Leveraging analytics, support the product commercialization initiatives of the firm by identifying target opportunity sets including target clients and channels. Use predictive analytics to uncover patterns and predict potential feature outcomes
- Increase the speed of insight generation by maximizing the latest techniques to query data and identify trends, patterns and outliers that inform business decisions
- Develop enhanced data visualizations and ‘self-service tools’ that maximize the utilization of dashboards and data
- Partner with IT organization on data architecture and infrastructure to enable data foundation to drive predictive analytics and insights
- Gain an understanding of the unique data challenges present in the US Wealth and broader asset management marketplace, becoming an SME over time
- Work in close partnership with other members of the Predictive Analytics team to provide global coverage for all advanced data projects and deliverables
- Strong experience in advanced analytics supporting commercial outcomes, ideally within the Asset Management or broader Financial Services industry (10 years+)
- Experience working with large, disparate datasets across the asset management ecosystem
- Proven ability to take large datasets and deliver clean visualizations and concise recommendations for action
- Deep understanding of master data management techniques, concepts and best practices
- Knowledge and understanding of Asset Management distribution, particularly within the Intermediary Distribution space is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic environment, with tight deadlines
- Sufficient gravitas and confidence to engage senior partners with credibility
- Ability to take ownership and initiative, to influence and build consensus
- Desire to develop an understanding of the global ETF landscape and SSGA’s business lines across ETFs, Cash and Retirement
