Description:
The ICU RN will work night shifts with a patient ratio of 1:5.
The unit consists of 20 beds.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
The clinician will be required to work every other weekend.
Candidates may float within their scope to meet facility needs.
There is no on-call requirement.
The role demands strong skills in cardiac and respiratory care, as well as the management of critical patients.
Special patient diagnoses include chest pain, CHF, afib, NSTEMI, dysrhythmia, post-cardiac interventions, ablations, cardiogenic shock, syncope, stroke, respiratory failure, pulmonary embolism, renal failure, and GI bleed.
Special procedures on the unit include cardiac catheterization recovery, managing chest tubes, and responding to emergency situations.
The role will involve operating equipment such as temporary pacing devices, defibrillators, IV pumps, and ventilators.
Floating to other departments may be required as part of the job responsibilities.

Description:
Position available for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
This is a night shift position working 12-hour shifts.
The unit consists of 18 beds.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
First-time travelers are accepted.
There are no weekend requirements.
Candidates are required to have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring.
There is no on-call requirement.
Clinicians may float within the scope to meet facility needs, including floating to Pediatrics based on necessity.
Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager for accommodation.
Local candidates will be accepted with no radius restrictions.
Must have an active state license or be in the application process with an estimated time of arrival to apply.
Requests for time off should ideally not exceed five days.
Candidates may be called off up to 36 hours during the contract without compensation for the canceled hours.
If the hours canceled exceed this limit, compensation will be billed for additional shifts.
Candidates will also need to possess experience in Antepartum Care and Procedures such as the following:
- Assisting with sterile speculum exams
- Conducting Non-Stress Tests (NST)
- Performing Oxytocin Challenge Tests (OCT)
- Conducting reflex checks and assessing edema
- Performing sterile vaginal exams
- Triage of obstetrical patients
- Using External Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM)
Required skills also include:

Overview
The Summer Nurse Intern will work under the direct supervision of an RN to provide age-appropriate care for a designated group of patients through the appropriate utilization of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. They will work closely with the RN to assimilate and act upon data reflective of the patient's status and to develop organizational and critical thinking skills. At the discretion of the RN, the Student Nurse Intern, can be assigned basic tasks/care elements for which competency has been validated that are within the scope of the Nursing Technician job description. However, the Student Nurse Intern, will NOT be assigned to administer medications or to add IV fluids, or to perform any task that requires a registered nurse license.
Qualifications
