**What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of an educational location.
+ Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
+ Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding individuals during evacuation or lockdown situations.
+ Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors, providing information and assistance as needed.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
