Qualifications:

Ability to work overtime as needed

Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Position Summary
Responsible for the safe operation of industrial trucks in the transport and delivery of construction materials to railroad construction jobsites, warehouses, or storage yards.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
• Operates commercial trucks on public roadways in accordance with prevailing traffic laws and regulations, and according to company safety policies.
• Operates trucks in the loading and off-loading of materials.
• Inventories and inspects goods to be moved to confirm quantities and conditions. • Secures cargo for transport. • Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions, checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
• Hauls backhoes, rollers and other small equipment as well as rail equipment and material.
• Following experience would be a plus; Truck/trailer, lowboys ,drop-neck and flat-bed stretch trailers.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience operating commercial motor vehicles in a railroad construction or related environment.
• A valid Commercial Driver’s License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Driving Record.

Physical Requirements :

- Keep your work area and vehicle neat and clean
- Always ask questions when uncertainty arises
- Daily inspection of your vehicle and report any issues immediately
- Have a good working knowledge of powersport related vehicles and their mechanical operation, not required
- Must be able to handle a 2-wheel motorcycle, will be trained
- Required to load, strap, and unload powersport units
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be able to push a rolling motorcycle with relative ease
- Help unload/load vehicles from trucks and trailers as needed
- Must not be sensitive to chemicals, cleaners, and fuel fumes
- Responsible for all company equipment and tools associated with specific job

- CDL Class A is Preferred
- Commercial driving experience required
- No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
- No serious tickets in last 5 years'
