**_What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health_**
**Pharmacy Operations** is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.
**Pharmacy Services & Delivery** is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

+ Typical schedule is 5 days/week - **Monday-Wednesday 4:00am - 12:30pm** , and remaining shifts will alternate between **Sat/Sun (** **_5am-1:30pm_** **) or Thurs/Fri (either** **_4am-12:30pm, or 9am-5:30pm_** **)**
+ Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, shifts and overtime as per business need
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
+ Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
+ Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
+ Processes packages returned from customer locations
+ Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
+ Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
**_Qualifications_**
+ High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
+ Prior delivery driving experience a plus
+ Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
+ May require vendor credentialing
+ Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
+ Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
+ Strong customer service and communication skills
+ Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
+ Ability to use computers and tablets

As a **US FOODS®** Delivery Driver, you will be critical to the **US FOODS®** team and one of the important faces of our organization. As a Delivery Driver, you will have an impact on our customers by delivering our meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to their drop-off sites. + Deliver best-in-class Customer Service.
+ Deliver customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times and keep productivity.
+ Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area?

**What you bring to the table**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age?
+ Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
+ Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
+ No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
+ Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
+ Must be able to pass DOT physical.

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely, safe and accurate delivery of customer's automotive parts to their location using a company provided vehicle without incident.

Position responsibilities also include:

  • Driving courteously and safely using defensive driving skills.
  • Professional communication with customers at their site. Representing the "face of Factory Motor Parts" to customers.
  • Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order
  • Ability to write up customers returns accurately.
