Our client, a major global airline headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia , is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Flight Operations Strategy. This executive role will be responsible for shaping the future of the airline's flight operations through innovative strategy development, efficiency improvements, and the integration of new technologies. You will lead critical initiatives aimed at optimizing flight schedules, enhancing operational performance, improving safety metrics, and ensuring cost-effectiveness across the entire flight network. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of airline operations, regulatory compliance, and the complexities of global aviation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for flight operations.

Delta Training Analytics team is seeking highly motivated and data curious Co-Op who is excited to leverage data to improve the Pilot Training Experience. The Co-op will work closely with the teams responsible for the development, design, and delivery of all training for our 16,000+ pilots. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide support with the following:
**Learner Insights & Advisory -** Focused on deepening understanding of their training experience and championing their needs before, during and post training thru research and insights shared from Learner Feedback. Track and monitor pilot performance against feedback to determine if there is a gap in training programs.
**Learner Analytics -** Conduct ad hoc analysis to support training curriculum changes or development of new training programs. Help create cross divisional reporting that helps measure training performance and effectiveness. Refresh current dashboards or help develop new widgets/dashboard views. Expand current topic modeling programming to increase accuracy, identify new topics and/or emerging themes.
**Learner Experience Strategy & Integration -** Support long-term strategy development that includes pilot training journey mapping & touchpoints, expanding Listening Posts, standardization of surveys and new data collection implementation.
The selected candidate must be able to commit to the following Co-op rotation(s):
+ Summer 2026
+ Spring 2027
+ Fall 2027
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
+ This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters.
+ Experience or a demonstrated interest in data analysis and coding, preferably SQL
+ Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, preferred, but not required
+ and follow through
+ Strong organizational, project management, and personal management skills
+ Robust verbal and written communication skills at all levels
+ Ability to work well in teams
+ Currently must be enrolled full-time and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Windows and strong computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

The Delta Pilot Pay team is seeking a highly motivated Co-op that has business curiosity and creative thinking to improve the Pilot Pay Experience. The Co-op will work closely with the teams responsible for ensuring pilots and pay-adjacent stakeholders receive efficient, accurate and user-friendly support in alignment with the Flight Operations pay strategy. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide support with the following:
+ Identify, visualize, analyze, and optimize business processes
+ Support the development of Knowledge Management content, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Glossary of Terminology and team pages
+ Apply industrial engineering and 6 sigma principles to business processes
+ Provides customer service to pilots by responding to inquiries sent to Crew Resources and distributing pay updates to pilots as applicable

+ **Lead the deployment, coaching and sustainment of the FLIGHT DECK** lean operating model across
+ CES and teams. **Lead kaizen** and **improvement projects** with a goal of achieving operating goals using **KPI-based** performance management and principles of SQDC. in that order.
+ **Coach** and **Collaborate** with all levels of the organization and functions including **Subject Matter Experts, Support Staff, and the Leadership Team** to help progress our Lean Culture and drive **Continuous Improvement** .
+ **Communicate** solutions within function and within **cross-functional partner organizations** .
+ Explains **difficult or sensitive information** ; works to build **consensus** . Utilize **persuasion** skills required to **influence** others.
+ **Coach organizational leaders** to deploy Value Stream Management and establish and implement the usage of Problem Solving, **Daily Management and Kaizen** enabling business and customer outcomes.
**Minimum Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university
+ Minimum 5 years of experience leading/managing teams in a Lean environment.
+ Must be able to travel up to 50%.
+ Relocation offered only to candidates willing to relocate to our world headquarters in Evendale, OH.
