Turner & Townsend is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in mechanical estimating, particularly within commercial, data center, industrial, or high-tech construction environments. While mechanical estimating is the core focus, familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems (MEP) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare mechanical cost estimates across all project phases-from conceptual through detailed design.

  • Deliver accurate and timely cost plans and estimates to support client decision-making.

  • Collaborate with design and project teams to provide cost input during feasibility studies, procurement planning, and value engineering.

  • Support the procurement process, including bid analysis and contract documentation.

  • Conduct cost checks, valuations, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Assist in producing monthly cost reports and final accounts.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to validate pricing and scope.

  • Contribute to the improvement of estimating tools, templates, and best practices.

  • Analyze historical cost data and market trends to inform future estimates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field.

  • 4-7 years of experience in mechanical estimating for large-scale commercial or high-tech construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems as they relate to building construction.

  • Familiarity with electrical and plumbing estimating (MEP) is a plus.

  • Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam).

  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.

  • Experience managing multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.

Turner & Townsend  is seeking an experienced Senior  Mechanical or MEP Estimator who can meet client objectives through the delivery of an effective cost management service.

The MEP Estimator is responsible for providing mechanical estimates and cost consulting for commercial, data center, industrial, and high-tech building projects.

While Mechanical construction estimating experience is required, Electrical and Plumbing Estimating experience is also advantageous (MEP).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • Ability to estimate at conceptual, programming and detailed level.
  • Assist on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
  • Perform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, produce bid list, bid analysis, produce bid report, and compile contractual documents.
  • Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable refer major changes to line manager.
  • Manage cost checks and carry out valuations on larger projects, and ensure timely and accurate cost checking, and valuation process.
  • Produce monthly post contract cost reports and present to client.
  • Provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
  • Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all projects stages.
  • Provide leadership to cost management team when necessary, ensure the delivery on all of accountabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report such opportunities to appropriate line manager, and utilize marketing database.
  • Identify improvements for cost management procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. 

Qualifications

  • Good technical experience in all cost management areas; pre-contract, post contract and final account
  • Demonstrate solid presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad Navisworks, and/or other related computer software.
  • Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
  • Good knowledge of all methods of construction procurement.
  • Experience with advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
  • Experience with key aspects of business development.
  • Good knowledge and experience gained within several industry sectors.

Education/Experience:

  • College degree in Engineering, Construction Management with a Technical Focus, Quantity Surveyor, or related technical field.

**Job Description**
**Turner & Townsend** is seeking an experienced **Senior Electrical Estimator** who can meet client objectives through the delivery of an effective cost management service.
The Senior Electrical Estimator will work with our Phoenix, Arizona area and manage electrical estimates + cost consulting on a notable portfolio of commercial, data center, industrial, high-tech and manufacturing building projects.
While Electrical construction estimating experience is required, Mechanical and Plumbing Estimating experience is also advantageous (MEP).
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
+ Ability to estimate at conceptual, programming and detailed level.
+ Assist on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
+ Perform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, produce bid list, bid analysis, produce bid report, and compile contractual documents.
+ Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable refer major changes to line manager.
+ Manage cost checks and carry out valuations on larger projects, and ensure timely and accurate cost checking, and valuation process.
+ Produce monthly post contract cost reports and present to client.
+ Provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
+ Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all projects stages.
+ Provide leadership to cost management team when necessary, ensure the delivery on all of accountabilities.
+ Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report such opportunities to appropriate line manager, and utilize marketing database.
+ Identify improvements for cost management procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to leadership.
+ SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
**Qualifications**
+ Good technical experience in all cost management areas; pre-contract, post contract and final
+ account.
+ Demonstrate solid presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad Navisworks, and/or other related computer software.
+ Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
+ Good knowledge of all methods of construction procurement.
+ Experience with advising clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
+ Experience with key aspects of business development.
+ Good knowledge and experience gained within several industry sectors.
**Education/Experience:**
+ College degree in Engineering, Construction Management with a Technical Focus, Quantity Surveyor, or related technical field.
+ Experience working on commercial, data center, high-tech, mission critical or related construction projects of medium-high complexity.
+ Experience preparing large-scale electrical cost estimates.
+ Good understanding of all electrical systems as they relate to the construction of related projects.

**Job Description**
**Turner & Townsend** is seeking a highly skilled **Senior Mechanical Estimator** to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical estimating, particularly within commercial, data center, industrial, or high-tech construction environments. While mechanical estimating is the core focus, experience with electrical and plumbing systems (MEP) is a strong advantage.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the preparation of mechanical cost estimates across all project phases-from conceptual through detailed design.
+ Deliver accurate and timely cost plans and estimates to support client decision-making.
+ Collaborate with design and project teams to provide cost input during feasibility studies, procurement planning, and value engineering.
+ Manage the full procurement lifecycle: pre-qualification, bid analysis, reporting, and contract documentation.
+ Conduct cost checks, valuations, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Produce and present monthly cost reports and final accounts to clients.
+ Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and cost consultants.
+ Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for new business.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and best practices.
+ Analyze historical cost data and market trends to inform future estimates.
+ Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to validate pricing and scope.
+ Support risk and contingency analysis during preconstruction phases.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field.
+ 7+ years of experience in mechanical estimating for large-scale commercial or high-tech construction projects.
+ Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems as they relate to building construction.
+ Familiarity with electrical and plumbing estimating (MEP) is a plus.
+ Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam).
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience advising clients on value engineering, life cycle costing, and procurement strategies.

**Job Description**
**Turner & Townsend** are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Cost Manager** and/or **Quantity Surveyor** to join our Phoenix, Arizona area team, working on large-scale, high-impact projects, including Data Centers, Mission Critical, Commercial, and Manufacturing facilities for global clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management or quantity surveying, with experience managing complex, fast-paced projects within the construction sector.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Advising client on strategies, managing prequalification of vendors, assessing proposals, bids, and bid levelling documents, making final recommendations to the client, attending & chairing bid interviews, and managing appointment process
+ Manage estimating services for full project by developing project estimates (relating to construction, fees, direct work and other costs), reviewing estimations prepared by junior team members, presenting estimates to client, presenting value engineering recommendations and risk assessments to client, meeting with vendors to review, validate, and challenge costs, and reviewing estimates by utilizing benchmark data collected from other projects
+ Manage cost reporting by establishing reporting schedule, reviewing & presenting cost reports and forecasts, reviewing project budget & spend forecast with the client, developing & maintaining commercial risk register, and hosting periodic meetings with project team & vendors
+ Manage cost control process by reviewing payment application assessments prepared by junior team members, liaising with project managers to recommend contractor entitlements, reviewing requests for change orders from vendors & making recommendations to client, and using dispute prevention/management/resolution procedures to manage payment requisitions, change orders, and contractual disputes
+ Manage & monitor invoicing process
+ Benchmark performance against other successful commissions.
+ Manage all facets of the final accounting process and post contract audits and account close outs.
+ Hold post-contract reviews with the client to establish a lesson learned document and apply lessons to create training manual
+ Develop procedures governing handover of project
+ Perform all the duties above through the use/preparation of Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, Cost Estimating Software, and Take-off Software
+ SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry.
+ RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable
+ Experience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.
+ Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
+ Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
+ Strong communication skills

We are seeking a seasoned senior electrical engineer with 15+ years of experience in substation design and commissioning, with a strong understanding of protection and control. While this role is not design-intensive, it requires deep technical knowledge to support all phases of project execution-from planning and design review to high-level construction oversight and commissioning support.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Provide technical leadership on substation projects specializing in substation design and commissioning with a strong focus on protection and control
+ Collaborate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to keep projects on track and aligned with scope and schedule
+ Review engineering design packages and material specifications to ensure completeness and constructability
+ Monitor construction progress at a high level, ensuring compliance with design requirements and safety standards
+ Develop, review, and support implementation of commissioning procedures, including system testing and startup
+ Assist engineering project management with progress tracking, coordination, and resolution of technical issues
Qualifications
