+ Plans and develops a schedule of monthly educational offerings in coordination with educators, hospital department directors and others as needs are assessed and planned. Ensures the calendar of events is published and distributed. Monitors attendance in relation to registration to determine appropriate adjustments in scheduling. Assesses feedback on educational offerings and revises as appropriate.
+ Develops and implements annual house wide education to meet regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing
+ Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
+ Minimum of 3 years education experience in the hospital setting
+ Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree enrolled within 1 years of accepted position
+ Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement
+ Current in American Heart Association Basic Life Support
+ NPD-BC Certification within one year of hire

The Office of Residence Life has a position available for an Assistant Director Of Residential Education who will assist with the department's student staff training, leadership, and recruitment. This position will report to the Associate Director of Residential Education and may assist with the management of the live-on team, including residential curriculum implementation and programming. - In collaboration with human resources, serve as primary recruiter and coordinator in the marketing and hiring process for student positions. Respond to inquiries about available positions and make hiring recommendations.
- Serve as chair of the recruitment and selection committee, leading weekly meetings related to student staff recruitment and selection.
- Update and maintain worker roster and files on behalf of the department.
3. General Responsibilities
- Assist the Associate Director of Residential Education in the day-to-day management of the area, including support of the 3-5 area coordinators serving in live-on positions.
- Serve in mid-level supervisor on-call rotation on a consultative basis.
- Assist with crisis and emergency response as an essential member of the residence life team.
- Manage fiscal resources allocated for student staff training, student staff recruitment, and student leadership.
- Co-advise the RA Advisory Board and Residence Hall Association.
- Support Area Coordinator advisors the Residence Hall Association in the development, of the group, including coordinating student delegations attending state and regional conferences.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Office of Residence Life.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
+ Prepares student education plans in consultation with parents and department team members
+ Supports learning for students who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities.
+ Designs instruction, both individual and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum
+ Assists parents, administrators, testing specialists, social workers, and professionals to develop educational plans designed to promote students' educational, physical, and social development
+ Prepares materials and classrooms for class activities
+ Serves as the coordinator of individualize education program (IEP) implementation with general education staff
+ Monitors student progress, participates in review and revision of student's IEP, as appropriate
+ Maintains accurate student records

MinimumRequirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
