As a Special Education Teacher , you will lead the instructional process for Secondary Education students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), designing dynamic and personalized learning experiences within the learning center and/or classroom. Your role includes delivering targeted instruction, utilizing innovative curriculum resources, integrating educational software, and creating comprehensive lesson plans and schedules tailored to the diverse physical, emotional, and educational needs of each student, in alignment with state and school standards.
‖ Responsibilities Include:
- Creating an inclusive, collaborative environment that actively involves students, parents, colleagues, and administrators in the educational process.
- Establishing a classroom climate built on mutual respect, fairness, and clear expectations, emphasizing social development, personal accountability, and positive group interactions by modeling Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
- Implementing and consistently reinforcing school-wide and classroom-specific PBIS strategies, behavior expectations, reward systems, and appropriate consequences.
- Tracking and documenting student progress, maintaining accurate student files, and generating comprehensive reports detailing student achievements and activities.
- Delivering differentiated and targeted instruction individually or collaboratively in a co-teaching environment to effectively meet IEP-specified educational goals.
- Adapting and modifying curricular content and instructional approaches to accommodate the diverse learning styles and capabilities of students, providing guidance to instructional staff on differentiation methods.
- Utilizing varied and engaging instructional methods, resources, and educational software to effectively respond to and support diverse student needs and interests.
- Managing student caseload responsibilities, including developing, updating, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), goals, and interventions.
- Preparing detailed daily lesson plans and organizing instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and individual student objectives.
- Maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment, managing supplies, furniture, and resources effectively according to established procedures.
- Staying informed on current research-based instructional practices, trends, and developments in special education and subject-specific areas to continually enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Responding openly and constructively to feedback from formal evaluations and informal observations, actively pursuing ongoing professional growth.
- Supporting the school community by performing additional duties as assigned, contributing positively to the overall success of the educational program.
‖ Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education, special education or a closely related field of study.
- Meet all state teaching license and/or certification requirements.
- Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a state special education credential preferred.
- Prior experience in relevant grade level and/or subject matter.
- Prior experience working with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction in a classroom setting.
- Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism and/or other related disabilities.
- Prior experience and highly knowledgeable in working with students with individualized education plans (IEP's).
- Proven success in developing and implementing effective education plans for students with diverse needs.
- Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals.
- Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions.
- Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.

As a Special Education Teacher , you will lead the instructional process for Grades K-1 students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), designing dynamic and personalized learning experiences within the learning center and/or classroom. Your role includes delivering targeted instruction, utilizing innovative curriculum resources, integrating educational software, and creating comprehensive lesson plans and schedules tailored to the diverse physical, emotional, and educational needs of each student, in alignment with state and school standards.

‖ Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education, special education or a closely related field of study.
- Meet all state teaching license and/or certification requirements.
- Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a state special education credential preferred.
- Prior experience working with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction in a classroom setting.
- Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism and/or other related disabilities.

Opportunity Overview
The Patient Education Manager is a field-based member of the commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the patient-centric business model, responding to the needs of patients and caregivers through engagement, education, care coordination and resolution of treatment access related barriers. You will establish strong relationships with people living with rare neuroendocrine diseases and their caregivers, serving as an integral resource throughout their journey. Further, you will provide support and connect patients and health care providers to resources that may be helpful to them in optimizing patient care, while working collaboratively within a team environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking patients. This role reports into US Patient Services Director, Southeast.
Your territory will cover primarily South Florida and Puerto Rico. The territory may change as our business needs evolve.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver in-depth disease state and product education to inform and empower patients/caregivers as they navigate treatment access
- Identify and resolve patient specific barriers and develop action plans for resolution to allow patients/caregivers to manage their disease and treatment as recommended by their healthcare provider
- Responsible for delivery of education programs (in person and virtual) including injection education training to patients and families
- Provide care coordination for patients/caregivers working as a liaison with the Field Access Manager and Territory Manager/ Sales and our specialty pharmacy to help facilitate the reimbursement and fulfillment process
- Effectively collaborate with cross functional partners on complex patient and customer issues
- Respond to all customer inquiries, provide appropriate education and support and triage to available resources
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of regional trends (payor and customer)
- Meet documentation requirements to facilitate tracking of critical metrics
- Ensure full compliance with all corporate and industry policies and legal and regulatory requirements for all regional commercial activities
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree required, nursing, social work, dietitian, or clinical background required
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred
- 6+ years of related experience, including supporting patients within Rare Disease
- Knowledge of insurance and payor landscape and US reimbursement process
- Prior product launch experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and flexibly with resource constraints, exhibiting a results-drive mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse team
- Ability to travel in the U.S. (up to 50% travel)

- Collaborates with Marketing Manager and ensures that a Go/No Go process is conducted for each pursuit and that the appropriate people participate
- Ensures that the Go/No Go process is completed and documented in Salesforce
- Collaborates with pursuit champion and team on RFx response and interview to enhance deliverables
- Coordinates internal and external pursuit debrief with appropriate parties shares that information as appropriate
- Participates in client calls with other business developers and leaders as needed
- Collaborates in developing regional BD and marketing events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related subject
- Typically with 10+ years of business development experience, industry experience preferred
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Knowledge of and understanding in the field of architecture/interior design
- Proven sales track record of establishing and maintaining partner relationships for immediate and on-going sales success
- Experience in developing lasting client relationships
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers; ability to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to negotiate, make difficult decisions, influence others and manage change
- Ability to work on a team in a diplomatic and collaborative manner that puts value on relationships and collaboration, both internal and external
- Ability to communicate and present ideas in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
- Ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions
- Ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize work
- Ability to meet deadlines at expected quality
- Travel will be required
