We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Leader to provide expert technical guidance and oversight of the electrical engineering group. This role involves managing an industrial engineering team to deliver a variety of industrial design projects for the chemical, power, utilities, and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will have experience with designing and retrofitting industrial power distribution systems and substations. Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Manage and supervise an industrial engineering team, providing technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
Technical Oversight: Independently oversee and provide expert guidance on complex electrical system designs to meet client project requirements.
Compliance Review: Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and sign off on completed designs.
Policy Adherence: Ensure all designs follow firm policies, quality, and practices.
Site Reviews: Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications, updating design requirements as necessary.
Knowledge Contribution: Develop white papers and technical design documentation for new or special case designs, and submit technical papers for publication in journals.
Proposal Collaboration: Work with sales staff to create proposals in response to RFPs, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.
Client Engagement: Meet with current and potential clients to review their design needs and provide technical guidance.
