**Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician**
**Location: Sterling Heights, MI**
**Pay Range: $29.00 to $32.00/HR**
**1** **st** **Shift - 5:00am to 3:30pm**
**2nd Shift - 4:00pm to 2:30am**
**What's the Job?**
+ Industrial troubleshooting to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances apparatus and fixtures
+ Installation and maintenance of building electrical
+ Installs power supply, wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, etc.
+ Diagnoses all malfunctioning equipment including electrical apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and corrects the issue, which can include replacing damaged or broken wires and cables
+ Installation of electrical and mechanical components and systems for presses, custom equipment, machinery and all related equipment
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to follow MIOSHA and MPTSH safety regulations and policies, including wearing required P.P.E. (Personal Protective Equipment). Reports on unsafe conditions.
+ Participates in continuous improvement activities, proactively submits Cost saving improvements and suggestions. Uses the Employee suggestion program, Kaizen and A3 methods.
+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills including ability to diagnose malfunctioning systems, gearbox rebuild, pumps, and motors repairs. Knowledge of CNC's, Stamping Presses and related machinery.
+ Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet. Knowledge of building codes. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLC's, Servo systems, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic Systems, electrical controls, various types of HMI's and associated logic.
+ Competent with programming/commissioning of VFD's, Fanuc control and logic knowledge. Ability to work with 3-phase, 480 volts. General Fabrication skills preferred. Must have own tools or ability to obtain tools required.

Our facility in Albion, Michigan is looking for a 2nd S hift Electrical Mechanical Technician to join their team. This position is an experienced skilled crafts role that creates value by performing a variety of maintenance duties, ensuring maximum facility uptime to meet production goals. The Maintenance Technician will work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Salary
This position pays $31.00 - $5.00/hour depending upon candidate experience!
This position will offer a 3500.00 sign on bonus only for electrical troubleshooting skills based upon interview and documented past experience!
Shift
2nd shift 3pm-11pm Monday - Friday; with overtime on Saturdays as needed.
3rd shift 11pm-7am Monday - Friday; with overtime on Saturdays as needed.

You Will Do
- Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Helping to meet or exceed production, waste, and quality goals through a quality maintenance program
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems and repairing and maintaining all equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures
- Installing and repairing mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and couplings
- Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
- Using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring devices and testing instruments
- Completing mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance activities
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience working with 240/480-volt 3 Phase motors
- Experience OR training troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors
- Experience OR training working with hydraulic & pneumatic systems
- Must provide your own metric and standard tools, e.g.: socket and wrench sets and Allen T-handles
What Will Put You Ahead
- Two (2) year or higher degree in Industrial Technology
- Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Experience programming PLCs
- Experience with PLC interface pattern control

(6 Month Contract to Direct, fully benefitted during contract and direct)
**Location:** Warren, MI
**Pay:** $35-$40 per hour
Candidate needs to be able to meet ITAR requirements
Candidate will work with various testing and inspection equipment, troubleshooting and repairing. Adapt electrical schematics for new test equipment requirements. Review equipment build requirements and work with panel and frame wiring to complete requirements.
**Responsibilities:**
- Adapt existing schematics to new systems
- Develop schematics for material testing equipment
- Machine wiring and process development on material testing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair customers' testing equipment at their facilities
- Domestic travel required (10% of the time)
**Duties:**
- Electrical design for servo hydraulic and electromechanical closed-loop control test systems
- Implementation and tuning of closed-loop controlled test systems with position, force, and/or strain feedback
- Train and oversee electrical engineers, electricians, and technicians in wiring and running new and remanufactured testing equipment
- Troubleshoot testing equipment both remotely and onsite at customer facilities
- Train customers on the operation and programming of test machines
- Perform quality control on production for closed-loop controls and wiring
- Provide final review of completed testing equipment prior to shipment
- Conduct research and development for continual improvement of electrical systems and components
- Procure sensors, subplate components, and connectors for the department
- Review engineering specifications on drawings of test machines
**Education:**
- Associate's degree in Electrical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
- Experience as an industrial electrician
- Basic programming
- Basic ladder logic programming and robotics is a plus
