Job Summary:
The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment
and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, appliances and other
building systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Plans repair work using building's blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
- Performs general repairs. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, repairing doors and other building fixtures, electrical repairs, lighting system maintenance and replacement including trouble shooting, HVAC maintenance and repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
- Knowledge of general building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Electrical and or HVAC experience preferred.
- On-the-job training offered.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

**The Boeing Company** is seeking a broad range of experience levels including; **Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Electrical/Electronic Installation Design Engineers** who will provide engineering support across the Boeing portfolio of products, to include - but not limited to - Boeing Military Aircraft, Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others). This position will be physically located in **Oklahoma City, OK.**
**This position will be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK . These positions will also be eligible for the OKC 9x80 alternate work schedule.**
**Position Responsibilities:**
**Associate (Level 2)**
+ Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
+ Supports analysis and design reviews.
+ Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).
+ Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
+ Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
+ Supports the development of statements of work.
+ Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
+ Analyzes functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.
+ Works under general supervision.
**Experienced (Level 3)**
+ Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
+ Analyzes results and performs design reviews.

+ Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
+ Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets.
+ Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
+ Works under minimal direction.
**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):**
+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
+ 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification
+ Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time as required
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Education or experience in Electrical Engineering
+ Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
+ Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
