Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for office and manufacturing environment; hot when weather is hot and cold when weather is cold. Greasy, dirty and noisy environment. Work involves lifting, pulling and/or pushing of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Standing and walking considerable distances. Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats.
1. Qualifications:
1.1 Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Technology.
1.2 Minimum of three (3) years hands on maintenance experience in industrial control system development and troubleshooting.
1.3 Must have proven experience with the following PLCs and HMI’s: Allen Bradley and Siemens.
1.4Advance PLC skills with expertise in system administrative and maintenance activities, and hardware and software troubleshooting.
1.5 Read and create electrical schematics.
2. Responsibilities:
2.1 Work as part of a team to plan, analyze and control the quality of processes.
2.2 Supervises electrical maintenance personnel over the assigned section of the plant maintenance (Slitter &Mill or Finishing Depts).
2.3 Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
2.4 Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
2.5 Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians
2.6 Inspect, repair, and adjust Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and related equipment using electrical test equipment, circuit diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
2.7 Assist with all computer integration of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and process controls.
2.8 Responsible for training of end users on the operations of newly installed or modified process or control systems.
2.9 Must be available to, on occasion, work outside their regular schedule, to assist in the implementation of process changes.
2.10 The employee is responsible for maintaining maintenance records, inspection reports, and processing Work Orders.
2.11 Ensure a clean and safe work area. Must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
2.12 Ensure the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) are followed.
2.13 Supports HSE-related programs that will increase awareness and promote a safety culture.
2.14 Ensure the continuous improvement methods and 5S are always in effect on the responsibility area.
3. Activities:
3.1 Electrical Maintenance Supervisor must work to arrange for repair and replacement of instruments and control systems that fail to operate. They must continuously monitor all operation processes so that a malfunction is immediately recognized and corrected.
3.2 Coordinates activities with Plant Operations Departments.
3.3 Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.
3.4 Ensures that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.
3.5 Assists with hiring of electrical maintenance personnel.
3.6 Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
3.7 Input of Work Orders through the CMMS of the Maintenance Department.
3.8 Prepare reports on equipment performance and efficiency.
3.9 Other duties as assigned.
4. Authority and Obligation:
4.1 This position has the authority to stop an operation if he / she deems it necessary, for reasons of imminent safety and/or possible equipment damage. However, he/she must notify the Operations Supervisor on duty and follow the established notification procedure if the interruption is for an extended time period.

**Summary**
The Electrical Maintenance Planner is responsible to manage the work planning and scheduling processes, conforming to company standards and world class best practices as part of an integrated operation, maintenance, and reliability team. This role schedules maintenance work efficiently to optimize costs, resource utilization, minimize the duration of the work as well as the risks to the schedule while ensuring a safe and efficient execution of the work. The Instrument and Maintenance Planner develops and takes ownership of maintenance work, including routine and non-routine outages to develop work scope and produce job plans reduce setup costs, and procure/specify parts prior to the work.
**Job Accountabilities**
+ Examine jobs in order to plan and prepare work plans and schedules that provide direction to the Instrument and Electrical function for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance. Make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution
+ Develop, maintain, and deliver integrated maintenance schedules in support of operations
+ Identifies and obtains necessary materials, work instructions, manuals, appropriate tools, etc. to execute the planned work order
+ Evaluate options to accomplish work to determine most effective cost alternatives.
+ Analyze timing options for planned work in conjunction with other departments to determine the most opportune schedule
+ Manage work orders, from the moment they are handed over from a planner until they are scheduled for execution, and oversee the work until completion
+ Create requisitions and order required parts for all preventive, corrective, & predictive maintenance activities as applicable
+ Assure the scope and cost of contractor work is clearly defined, purchase orders are approved, and equipment will be available for the work performed as required
+ Adhere to established work processes and practices when scheduling all tasks, ensuring compliance with the Control of Work processes, including permitting, isolations and risk identification, as well as other relevant Company policies and procedures.
+ Maintain a high level of standards relating to the safe, environmentally sound, timely and cost-effective scheduling of maintenance work.
+ Maintain an effective auditing process of completed PM. Follow up/review completed PM for notes/improvements to ensure planning effectiveness
+ Develop planned work, projects, and outages cost estimates and communicate actual cost accruals for accounting
+ Work with Maintenance Supervisor to write preventative maintenance routine tasks to include frequency, durations, parts, manpower, and documentation required
+ Assist maintenance supervisor with technical support and in the field as needed (i.e. call-ins, emergency breakdowns, routine outages, etc.)

**Required Qualifications**
+ Associates Degree or two (2) year technical degree in technical or business discipline

+ Three (3) years of experience in maintenance role in paper, chemical, petrochemical, or industrial facility

**We will be hiring for this position no later than September 2025**
Job Summary:
Join our team and embark on a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a world class, greenfield facility focused on the manufacturing of superalloys for the aerospace, space, and defense industries. Initial hiring will take place in the third quarter of 2025, and responsibilities will include metal fabrication, equipment erection, and general installation activities. Responsibilities will then shift to commissioning and troubleshooting activities alongside equipment vendors and our engineering team. Once operational, technicians will be responsible for the preventative and predictive maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment in a metals manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of the electrical systems that support our sites equipment including vacuum, compression, hydraulic, mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic systems and furnace power supply units, as well as the ability to perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the initial building of the facility and installation of equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on metal manufacturing machinery including furnaces and associated downstream processing machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment within the facility with a focus on issues related to electrical, controls, and robotic faults and failures.
- Respond to machine breakdowns and unplanned downtime in a timely and efficient manner to minimize production delays.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance and meets safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including details of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to solve issues that impact safety, ergonomics, reliability, or production uptime.
- Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety procedures and company policies.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electrical components, including motors, sensors, robots, automation systems, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety standards and guidelines.
- Participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification preferred but not required.
- Proven experience of 3+ years in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and their interactions with mechanical, hydraulic, vacuum, compressor, and pneumatic systems, PLCs, and automation platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices and techniques.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of the engineering and production teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, weekends, or on-call when required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to work in noisy, hot, or potentially hazardous environments (with appropriate PPE).
- Comfortable working with heavy machinery and tools.

**Power Plant Electrician - Operations and Maintenance Technician**
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all mechanical, **I/C, and electrical high voltage** equipment with as required to support plant operations and maximize asset value.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Uses computerized maintenance management system to maintain and control work order system spare parts inventory. Perform maintenance and repair work on plant equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, fans, turbines, bearings, boilers, pipe systems, valves and limitorque operators. (disassembly, part repair or replacement, assembly).
+ Operates monitors and maintains turbines, generators, pumps, scrubber plants, industrial wastewater treatment plants, boilers, motors, combustion turbines and associated auxiliary equipment.
+ Trains and develops other employees in performing preventive maintenance and routine equipment service activities. Practices situational leadership, environmental and safety stewardship.
+ Leads equipment or system problem identification and recommends solutions.
+ Perform predictive/preventive maintenance.
+ Perform electrical maintenance on generators, transformers and MOV's.
+ Perform troubleshooting on plant equipment such as power and control circuits, heaters, motors and transformers using electrical test instruments.
+ Develops operating procedures for plant equipment to ensure consistent and safe operation.
+ Performs all work during an assigned shift in a safe, continuous and efficient manner while maintaining environmental and housekeeping standards within federal, state and local guidelines. Performs work per Work Management processes and ensures safety using equipment Tag out process.
+ Assists in requisitioning parts and supplies.
+ Perform any other duties as assigned.
**POSITION SCOPE**
The incumbent in this position must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization. Good knowledge of PLC's, Ovation and GE Mark 6 Digital Controls Systems.
**Qualifications - External**
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Associates' Degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or Electronics OR
+ HS Diploma with minimum of 18 months of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology
+ Successfully complete the training requirements and time in job requirements for the position including previously passing the EEI TECH test
+ Electrical background
+ Availability for Day shift work and overtime as required
+ Good oral and written communication skills
+ Basic computer skills
+ Understanding of power plant prints
+ Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle
+ Ability to work in a power plant environment that includes climbing and walking long distances

What You Will Do
The maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of the Production facility. The primary responsibility of this role is preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standards. The maintenance technician will support the production, quality, cost and safety goals of the manufacturing operation and plant facilities.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Performs a wide variety of maintenance repairs and services. Troubleshoots breakdowns of machinery and production line. Setup and disassemble machines as needed
- Perform daily plant maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and all other related functions on various industrial equipment and PLC
- Perform changeovers, installation of motors, belts, drives, and other mechanical systems
- Responsible for the timely completion of all work orders as assigned. Coordinates special projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Set-up and adjust machines to ensure proper operation
- Read, understand and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings
- Maintain records pertinent to equipment performance, necessary repairs and downtime via PM's, SAP work requests, utilizing PC based systems
- Assures food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees
- Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
- Follows all relevant SOPs and corrective action procedures. Notifies supervisor of process deviations
- Assists in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
- Monitors and maintains all building systems as assigned. Assist with building and grounds maintenance
- Maintain efficient function of the boiler and water softener; add chemicals or salt as needed
- Responsible for alerting the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place, or that may occur
- Works within established expense limits
- Responds to handheld radio calls for maintenance problems around the plan
- Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in science area preferred
- Minimum of 2 years working in an industrial environment in related capacity required
- Broad understanding of industrial electrical, 24V - 480V, 3 phase, mechanical, and building systems
- Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, and troubleshooting control systems
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pumping systems
- Experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Good understanding of computer program functionality
- Knowledge of food safety and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
