**The Opportunity**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing on the Industrial Manufacturing Solution team, which includes the manufacturing, ag/bio-process, and food/beverage industries.

+ Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate initiative and leadership, and have the judgment and confidence to work independently with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

+ Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff that are supporting project detailed design.

+ Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations.

+ Lead the design of facility power distribution (Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control, Electrical Room Layout) and process electrical distribution (power and control wiring from control panel to equipment and field devices) in a manufacturing or industrial processing environment.

+ Support business development, including proposal scope approach and estimating, related to enhanced Electrical services.

+ Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.

+ Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues.

+ Coordination with local electrical utilities on project technical needs.

+ Review of supplier submittals.

+ Act as a liaison between the design team, client and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design.

+ Startup and testing of major electrical equipment.

+ Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area.

The Dry Utilities Lead leads the coordination of all dry utility and low voltage system infrastructure, ensuring alignment with site plans, AHJ requirements, and project phasing to support timely service activation and construction readiness. The position will report to the Dry Utilities Manager.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Consultant Management
  • Assist in onboarding dry utility and fire protection consultants during early design phases.
  • Support tracking of consultant deliverables and meeting schedules.
  • Maintain an up-to-date directory of consultant contacts and AHJ representatives.

Consultant Onboarding & Oversight
  • Lead the selection and onboarding of dry utility, fire protection, and ISP consultants.
  • Ensure all utility consultants understand project timelines, design standards, and coordination processes.
  • Maintain a centralized tracking system for deliverables, RFI responses, and approvals.

Permanent Power Design. Planning & Execution
  • Lead early engagement with utility providers and AHJs to establish design parameters and schedules.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to define meter locations, transformer requirements, and routing strategies.
  • Identify offsite work (e.g., trenching, pole relocation) and ensure it is scoped and budgeted.

Fire Protection Coordination
  • Lead the integration of fire department requirements into utility and architectural layouts.
  • Coordinate hydrant placement, standpipe locations, and fire department connections (FDCs) with AHJs.
  • Ensure fire riser access, flow tests, and system zoning align with construction phasing and egress plans.

Utility Coordination & Preconstruction Integration
  • Oversee all dry utility layouts (gas, electric, telecom) for conflicts with site access, civil grades, and structure.
  • Create and maintain utility coordination overlays and ensure alignment across all design disciplines.
  • Lead readiness reviews to confirm offsite utility permits and service agreements are secured pre-construction.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Utility Infrastructure, or Construction Management or other related fields.
  • 6-10 years coordinating dry utility infrastructure on large-scale developments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS Office and project management applications.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, telecom, and fire protection systems. Experience managing utility provider requirements and AHJ coordination.
  • Strong leadership and organizational management capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to forecast risks and align teams toward delivery milestones.
  • 5-day work week (Monday-Friday)

Job Summary:

TechServ is seeking wire-down watchers to respond to significant weather events and federal disasters affecting our utility partners in the United States and Puerto Rico. This temporary position requires workers to ensure public safety by monitoring downed power lines and other electrical hazards until utility crews can perform repairs. Assignments can last from one day to several weeks and often require travel.

Key Responsibilities:

The duties described below represent the essential regular functions during storm restoration events. This description does not exclude other assigned duties. Wire-down watcher positions are temporary, paid per work performed, and do not include benefits, vacation, or holiday pay.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the public's safety by guarding downed power lines and other electrical hazards.
  • Set up safety perimeters around downed wires and other hazards using cones, tape, or other barriers.
  • Communicate hazards and safety instructions clearly to the public and keep unauthorized individuals away from danger zones.
  • Report the status and location of downed wires to utility dispatch and repair crews.
  • Remain at the assigned location until relieved by a utility crew or supervisor.
  • Document and report any changes in the situation or additional hazards.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends, in various weather conditions.
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to prioritize safety at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the public and utility personnel.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel on short notice.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) background check.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum age of 21 to drive a TechServ rented vehicle. Previous experience in a safety or security role is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to set up and remove safety barriers.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously.
  • Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet safety needs.
Other Requirements:
  • Possess a smartphone with a data plan for communication and reporting.
  • Must be available for the work hours required by the utility company's schedule.
  • Must be available to work until the completion of storm response and release by the utility.
  • Be sufficiently fit for duty and able to stand and monitor locations for long periods.
  • Preferred: CPR/First Aid Certified.
Vehicle Agreement:

If using a personal vehicle:
  • Summer Storm Event: 4WD or AWD Truck or SUV Preferred.
  • Winter Storm Event: 4WD or AWD Truck or SUV Required.

Job Description

This position is part of the S&E (Structuring & Execution) department, which encompasses the following areas of expertise: project management, contract and purchasing management, supply chain management, construction management, technical expertise, being responsible for two main work streams in the following areas:

  • Continuous improvement of our methods: Improve, complete, and deploy processes, tools, models, and training (including interfaces with other business units), based on REX,
  • Support projects in their various phases, taking on S&E roles (linked to our areas of expertise) in project teams, with a particular focus on the structuring and execution phases.

Main responsibilities & missions:

Lead the coordination of projects in structuration and execution:

  • Coordinate projects in structuration phase, normally from PPA securisation until Financial Close mainly under non-recourse project finance scheme.
  • Coordinate projects in execution phase, from Financial Close until Take Over, being in charge of the overall completion of the execution phase mainly in managing the construction contracts, the site activities, the cost follow up and the Lenders and/or Equity partners relationship.
  • Support CapEx, OpEx and other Financial Model assumptions and optimizations aiming to reach expected Project economics in coordination with the Project Team.
  • Contribute to the selection, negotiation, and enforcement of the EPC, O&M and other supply agreements, in coordination with the Project Team,
  • Report HSE, E&S, contractual issues, schedule, budget, and progress follow up and manage the construction site team in charge of the day-to-day activities on site.

Set the framework and coordinate the project team:

  • Ensure proper coordination between team members (core and extended team) in accordance with agreed framework and targeted KPIs of the projects,
  • Deployment of processes and implementation of methods, tools and best practices in projects under structuration and execution, in line with the Group strategy, industry HSE and quality standards.
  • Animate internal Kick Off Meetings, steering committees, regional committees and Board Approval committees,
  • Coordinate i) handover to execution team and/or asset management team, at the end of structuration and/or execution phases, ii) lessons learned meetings.
Qualifications

Project Management

  • Experience in managing renewable energy project teams under structuration and/or execution phases within the framework established in the road map, in accordance with safety requirements, schedule and budget and established governance,
  • Strong background coordinating and managing the interfaces between project's stakeholders such as the project team, lenders, equity investors, administrations, contractors, third parties,
  • Ability to perform risk assessment and technical due diligence,
  • French and English mandatory. Spanish or other language is a plus,
  • Autonomy, proactivity, agility and flexibility as well as ability to interfacing with various internal and external stakeholders.
