**Responsibilities**
+ Mentors and leads inspections and orientations, identifies hazards and corrections, and leads by example for health and safety practices and procedures.
+ Coordinates with superintendent on workforce planning.
+ Maintains project document control and procedures. Supports project engineers and/or superintendents to lead trade contractors, including requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, changes, and billings.
+ Participates in the supervision of self-perform scopes, including resolving crew sizes, labor tracking, and quantity tracking for Labor Cost Reports (LCRs).
+ Mentors and coaches field engineers and students/interns).
+ Identifies issues on-site or in defined work scopes.
+ Coordinates third-party inspections and site reviews.
+ Participates in crafting, implementing, and supervising quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
+ Develop and maintains positive relationships focusing on all partners.
**Qualifications**
+ Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field: construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
+ 0 to 8-12 months of varied experience as field engineer/coordinator preferred; time acquired during internships in the field may count as experience.
+ Knowledge of construction specifications, and methods and procedures (e.g., formwork methodologies, self-perform work, subcontracted work scopes, temporary work, equipment, and scheduling techniques).
+ Understands and applies construction principles to problem solve.
+ Effective verbal and written communication with supervisors and subcontractors, and reports.
+ Proven track record to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Writes clear technical communication to trade contractors, designers and inspectors.
+ Develops and maintains effective partner relationships.

Conducts survey of proposed or existing facilities.
Assists and/or obtains right-of-way, archaeological clearances and similar field clearances.
Represents NTUA at meetings with customers, consultants and contractors in reference to assigned projects.
Monitors NTUA work orders and provides status reports to supervisor.
Maintains maps; performs field verifications and checks completed maps.
Marks points of measurement with elevation, station number or other identifying marks.
Contacts customers to evaluate environmental conditions and/or obtain necessary information for completion of requests for new service.
Processes telephone and television cable companies on joint use application.

Job Responsibilities:
As an Engineering Technician, you will join our Vehicle Commissioning team, which comprises several technicians under the supervision of the Engineering Supervisor. Leveraging your experience and expertise, you will conduct tests to validate vehicle performance. Based on your skill set, qualifications, and ability to execute the responsibilities listed below, you will be assigned a skill level ranging from Level 1 to Level 3.
Your Responsibilities
• Oversee and ensure the completion of all vehicle test and maintenance activities
• Lead / maintain 5S standards
• Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
• Act as leads to the Vehicle Commissioning team
• Assist in the development and implementation of procedures
• Interface with our customer on troubleshooting direction
• Perform and understand all required tests in Vehicle Commissioning per customer specifications
• Input and maintain accurate documentation of test results and maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot and repair higher level more complex issues that arise during testing
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Document troubleshooting and test execution steps accurately
• Perform Vehicle Commissioning tests as needed to support production
• Support Quality & Process team to improve procedures
• Support and participate in data collection
• Report EHS concerns and workplace hazards
• Following troubleshooting methodology
Who we are looking for
• Completed high school diploma or technical vocational schooling
• Technician experience in automotive preferred or other industry
• Proficient computer skills (e.g. MS Office, Google Suite, CANalyzer, etc.)
• Technical background and analytical skills
• Strong willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
Your preferred qualifications
• Program background and experience in Vehicle Commissioning
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting Vehicle Commissioning tests
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills for documentation and reporting
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Technician related experience in the automotive industry or other industry of 5+ years
• Ability to read electrical diagrams
• Ability to use a multimeter
• Understanding of CAN bus communications
• Previous industry testing experience
• Understanding of vehicle architecture
• Basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems
