**Your Future Role**
Innomotics is searching for a Sales Application Engineer to provide quotation support and development for new offers for medium voltage drives. This position will develop, edit and write original proposal responses and other sales related documents. The role requires strong abilities and talents in a diverse array of areas, including ability to read and understand customer specifications, and how to position the medium voltage product to win business.
**Position Overview:**
The Sales Application Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end completion of high-quality proposals, quotations, bids and tender responses, which are both technically and commercially aligned with the client's specifications for medium voltage drives.
This is a remote position.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Timely preparation of detailed engineering proposals for the medium voltage drives product line.
+ Accurately interpret client's technical specification and produce a compliant technical proposal, offering more suitable alternatives where appropriate.
+ Accurately interpret client's commercial requirements and ensure any commercial or contractual risks to the company are identified and mitigated.
+ Ensure proposals pricing and estimating is in line with company's agreed strategies on sales and marketing, charge out rates and availability of engineering resource.
+ Act as a single point of contact for customer, outside sales and our representative channel and undertake a negotiating role when preparing costed proposals.
+ Arrange and take a lead role in 'bid review', 'bid clarification' and 'sales handover' meetings.
+ Write high quality technical and commercial documents and reports and present them to both internal and external audiences.
+ Liaise with internal collaborators to assist in collating accurate data for the preparation of proposals.
**Your Profile**
+ Experience in business for medium voltage inverter products
+ Strong skills in communication, organizational change and influencing without authority
+ Experience and strong abilities in the use of tools for proposal development
**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:**
+ BS/BA in Electrical Engineering, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
+ 1-2 years of experience in related field and successful demonstration of Responsibilities as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable
+ Demonstrates extensive knowledge in field of specialization or multiple subject areas to the successful completion of sophisticated assignments.
+ Optimally serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise.
+ Demonstrates extensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
The pay range for this position is $77,800 - $133,400. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

Job Purpose
Contributes to new model cost target setting and achievement, budget forecasting and reporting, and supports directions within the PS&P Procurement Planning Unit to execute overall cost strategies and business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Help set and meet cost targets for new models with minimal support. Assist in pre-development cost estimations and investigations.
- Support risk monitoring for supplier financial risk, geopolitical risk, and compliance checks.
- Assist in rolling up long-term budget for future developments and new model cost targets, including coordination of the mass production unit cost budgeting.
- Participates in themes to reduce outsourcing costs and prepare future strategies for application. Support efforts to minimize service parts backorders.
- Lead supplier relationship monitoring to track spend characteristics and identify risk areas.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business (Accounting or Purchasing preferred), or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 0 to 2 years related work experience, preferably in Powersports or Automotive field, with a degree or 4 + years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, relational database management (QMF/SQL).
- Interacts and communicates effectively with supervisor and other department members
- Good planning, implementation, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be able to operate with a high level of confidentiality
- General knowledge of cost, budget, and/or financial information management
- Strong analytical skills (logical, thorough process, reasonability, timeliness)

Working Conditions
- Travel: Average of 6 times per year, depending on project demand. Could include some international travel.

The **Strategic Planning Manager** is responsible for overseeing corporate planning processes.
**How will you make an impact:**
+ Ensure that business and other staff unit plans are aligned and focused on corporate objectives.
+ Work with VP to ensure that appropriate analysis research and support are provided to various units within the company to produce a Board approved operational and strategic plan.
+ Develop and collect environmental issues and analysis.
+ Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
+ Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g., risk adjustment scoring by major groups, operational performance metrics) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
+ Creates and publishes periodic reports, any necessary ad hoc reports, and presenting to management.
+ May require taking business issue and devising best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools.
+ May make recommendations based upon data analysis.
+ Provides analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership or external customers.
+ Data analysis and reporting encompass a much higher level of complexity.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ Minimum 5 years experience in Medicare or risk adjustment strongly preferred.
+ Experience working with group retiree solutions strongly preferred.
+ Ability to manipulate large sets of data and knowledge of query tools strongly preferred.
+ Demonstrated executive presentation and communication experience strongly preferred.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills strongly preferred.
+ Project management experience in a matrix environment preferred strongly preferred.
+ Proficient to advance knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and SNOW strongly preferred.
