**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Reporting to the Controller, the Finance Manager is responsible for having a detailed knowledge of the financial and accounting systems used by HCA Physician Services, as well as corporate systems. The Finance Manager will assist the Controller in developing/compiling/analyzing statistical data, identifying trends, formulating conclusions and preparing complete and accurate financial statements and statistical reports in support of HCAPS executive decision-making processes.
Job Summary:
+ Supervise and coordinate the following financial services: monthly and annual closing cycles, general ledger accounting and reconciliation, budget review and clinic internal controls.
+ Develops plans and objectives with the CFO, Director of Finance and department staff regarding short and long range financial and accounting programs in specific areas such as budgeting, profit and loss analysis, accounting systems, reporting, and internal auditing.
+ Guarantee accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all financial reports related to HCAPS.
+ Coordinate with HCAPS management, division financial personnel, and facility personnel in the creation of annual capital and operating budgets.
+ Select, train, motivate, and evaluate personnel to ensure quality of service and technical expertise.
+ Work with HCAPs administration staff and Information Systems to develop financial and operating reports to monitor the progress of all practice entities at the Corporate, MSO, Group, Division, Market, Practice and Physician level.
+ Analyze standard monthly financial and statistical reports for HCAPS administration and operations and recommend analytical or operational changes to maximize the financial and operational effectiveness and efficiency.
+ Analyze practices and their operational indicators to determine best demonstrated practices as well as areas for improvement, reporting of these findings to HCAPS management.
+ Analyze trends in net revenue an A/R, working with the applicable CBO and/or practice financial staff to ensure accurate reporting and instill process improvement.
**Job Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
+ 3+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance
+ Supervisory experience in a healthcare organization preferred
+ CPA or CFA is a plus

Team Exposure: This role collaborates closely with a broad range of global finance and business leaders in Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams towards controllership and risk functions. The role also partners with stakeholders across technical projects & software development teams, capital planning, compliance, risks and controls. This role involves driving initiatives, collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and driving controls and policy compliance across the global procurement organization. This role also maintains project oversight, drives initiatives and policy reviews and partners with category management on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the scalability and efficiency of the procurement organization.

About the role: Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager within Global Procurement Operations Finance to own and drive strategic controllership initiatives that shape global procurement decisions. This role will independently lead high-impact, business-critical processes with significant visibility to senior leadership, including frequent interactions with Directors and VPs within Operations and Finance. You will develop and implement robust financial controls and risk management frameworks while building and maintaining strategic partnerships across multiple organizations, including Operations business teams, engineering services, and Finance teams throughout Worldwide Operations. Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
