The Financial Manager will be responsible for:
+ Grant management, budgeting and forecasting
+ Supporting weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings and P& L forecasting

**OVERVIEW**
Manage budgeting and financial analysis process for assigned business units (full line and region level or ultrasound and corporate.) Acts as primary contact for most financial matters.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
This is a remote position.

+ Manages coordination and preparation of half and fiscal year budgets and forecasts for assigned business areas--full-line sales, ultrasound, and headquarters departments. Meets with Executive team and respective BU Directors/Department heads to initiate, follow through, and complete budget process. Subject matter expert for booking, billing, and gross margin budgets including FOB pricing, backlog conversion, monthly inventory levels (PSI), and other critical analyses.

+ Prepare gross margin analyses (actual, forecast, and budget) at SID level detail and post appropriate journal entries. Point person for all gross margin related issues including accruals, reclassifications, tracking of PPV to individual SIDS, and inventory costing issues.
+ Provide management with financial support, advice and consultation to assist in budget preparation, and making financial decisions. For example: product pricing analyses or historical/trend analyses. Primary point of contact for any historical/trend financial data.
+ Manage preparation and distribution of standardized budgets, forecasts, and monthly sales and financial reports to executives and management. Coordinate and participate in monthly meetings with BU management to review financial actuals/forecast.
+ Develop new financial reports utilizing Excel, Essbase, and Qlikview as needed. Active participant in any software conversions, company reorganizations, and any other changes/updates as to effect on financials.

The Financial Reporting team plays a vital role in advancing Robinhoods mission by ensuring the company maintains transparency, accuracy, and compliance in all financial disclosures. As a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting , you will be responsible for preparing external filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other required disclosures, in alignment with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Investor Relations,Treasury, Finance, Corporate Accounting, Financial Operations, and Legal. Your work will support Robinhoods commitment to regulatory excellence, investor confidence, and operational integrity.

It is preferred that this role is located in Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Westlake, TX, or Lake Mary, FL office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations.

What Youll Do

• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings (including Parent company and subsidiaries) and investor communications, including SEC filings such as 8-Ks, 10-Qs and 10-Ks (and associated XBRL requirements), proxy statements, statutory financial statements, earnings releases, earnings presentations, earnings call scripts, and investor conference materials.
• Prepare the financial statements, including cash flow statement, footnote disclosures, and management discussion and analyses while maintaining complete tie-out documentation under the Companys SOX controls
• Prepare share-based compensation entries and reconciliation for month-end close and provide equity-related analysis
• Assist in the preparation of portions of the GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists
• Perform ad hoc disclosure benchmarking research of peer group companies
• Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of the annual and quarterly SEC reporting processes
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline processes
• Establish active and effective communication with cross functional partners
• Perform and monitor Sarbanes-Oxley controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance
• Multi-task and complete assigned tasks and projects in accordance with set timelines
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of relevant work experience including minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience or financial reporting with a publicly traded company
• Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ability to research accounting literature, establish a position and develop procedures for implementation
• Highly motivated and proactive with strong project management, organizational, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize competing workstreams and work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and ownership of complex areas
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced and changing financial environment
• Willingness and commitment to learn and go deep
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Active CPA license or actively working towards obtaining license
• Experience working with Workiva Wdesk, Equity Edge and Oracle FCCS
• Experience at a fintech company, high-growth startup, or broker-dealer industry

About the RoleThe Accountant III role is an experienced and highly skilled senior-level position responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing complex financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions. The role involves verifying the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts, reconciling to the general ledger, and utilizing advanced accounting software tools and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Preparation of footnotes for quarterly and annual financials

• Preparation of the financial statement tie-out procedures including all underlying support

• Researching and ensuring compliance with GAAP financial disclosure requirements

• Contribute to the external audit process by collecting and preparing supporting documentation for interim reviews and year end audits

• Assist with ad-hoc data requests for internal customers including Tax, Legal, and Program teams

• Provide support in researching and preparing technical accounting memos

• Provide support for external data requests including the preparation and submittal of government censuses

Robert Half is partnering with a growing hospitality client on a Financial Reporting Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager with strong SEC reporting experience and a solid understanding of lease accounting under ASC 842. This role will be responsible for preparing external financial reports, managing the lease accounting process, and supporting general accounting close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and file quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K), including financial statements, footnotes, and MD& A sections.
+ Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls over financial reporting.
+ Manage the accounting for leases under ASC 842, including review of new contracts, lease modifications, and maintaining the lease accounting system.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather required lease data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
+ Assist with month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses.

Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including SEC reporting and lease accounting under ASC 842.
+ Public accounting experience or experience in a public company environment is highly desirable.
+ Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
+ Experience with ERP and lease accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workiva, CoStar, LeaseQuery) a plus.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
