ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the Nooks team and oversee financial operations, reporting, and budgeting for our Colorado Springs location. You will wear various hats-from managing vendor payments to analyzing and forecasting utilization rates-this role offers exposure to multiple areas of the business and opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate should have an interest in corporate finance and hold a degree in a related field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and track vendor invoices, credit card expenses, and procurement requests using Ramp and QuickBooks
- Collaborate with the Colorado Springs site lead to collect, validate, and categorize financial transactions
- Analyze and forecast key performance indicators, including utilization, margins, and spend trends
- Monitor and manage recurring expenses, vendor contracts, and cash flow forecasts
- Assist in developing internal financial processes and automation to improve efficiency
- Support the Corporate Finance team with monthly and ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Support month-end close, journal entries, and variance analyses
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Ramp and/or QuickBooks is a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of the three financial statements and GAAP accounting

+ Manages coordination and preparation of half and fiscal year budgets and forecasts for assigned business areas--full-line sales, ultrasound, and headquarters departments. + Provide management with financial support, advice and consultation to assist in budget preparation, and making financial decisions. For example: product pricing analyses or historical/trend analyses. Primary point of contact for any historical/trend financial data.
+ Manage preparation and distribution of standardized budgets, forecasts, and monthly sales and financial reports to executives and management. Coordinate and participate in monthly meetings with BU management to review financial actuals/forecast.
+ Develop new financial reports utilizing Excel, Essbase, and Qlikview as needed. Active participant in any software conversions, company reorganizations, and any other changes/updates as to effect on financials.
+ Calculates incentive/bonuses for Field sales and Business Operations personnel. Assists Compensation manager in interpretation/application of incentive plans.
+ Subject matter expert as to refurbished/manual inventory. Monitors inventory levels, and provides financial analyses related to sales of refurbished inventory.
+ Provide guidance and training to fellow accounting/finance staff as needed.

The Financial Reporting team plays a vital role in advancing Robinhoods mission by ensuring the company maintains transparency, accuracy, and compliance in all financial disclosures. As a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting , you will be responsible for preparing external filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other required disclosures, in alignment with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Investor Relations,Treasury, Finance, Corporate Accounting, Financial Operations, and Legal. Your work will support Robinhoods commitment to regulatory excellence, investor confidence, and operational integrity.
It is preferred that this role is located in Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Westlake, TX, or Lake Mary, FL office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations.

What Youll Do
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings (including Parent company and subsidiaries) and investor communications, including SEC filings such as 8-Ks, 10-Qs and 10-Ks (and associated XBRL requirements), proxy statements, statutory financial statements, earnings releases, earnings presentations, earnings call scripts, and investor conference materials.
- Prepare the financial statements, including cash flow statement, footnote disclosures, and management discussion and analyses while maintaining complete tie-out documentation under the Companys SOX controls
- Prepare share-based compensation entries and reconciliation for month-end close and provide equity-related analysis
- Assist in the preparation of portions of the GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists
- Perform ad hoc disclosure benchmarking research of peer group companies
- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of the annual and quarterly SEC reporting processes
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline processes
- Establish active and effective communication with cross functional partners
- Perform and monitor Sarbanes-Oxley controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance
- Multi-task and complete assigned tasks and projects in accordance with set timelines
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of relevant work experience including minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience or financial reporting with a publicly traded company
- Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ability to research accounting literature, establish a position and develop procedures for implementation
- Highly motivated and proactive with strong project management, organizational, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing workstreams and work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and ownership of complex areas
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced and changing financial environment
- Willingness and commitment to learn and go deep
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Active CPA license or actively working towards obtaining license
- Experience working with Workiva Wdesk, Equity Edge and Oracle FCCS

About the RoleThe Accountant III role is an experienced and highly skilled senior-level position responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing complex financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager with strong SEC reporting experience and a solid understanding of lease accounting under ASC 842. This role will be responsible for preparing external financial reports, managing the lease accounting process, and supporting general accounting close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and file quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K), including financial statements, footnotes, and MD& A sections.
+ Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls over financial reporting.
+ Manage the accounting for leases under ASC 842, including review of new contracts, lease modifications, and maintaining the lease accounting system.

Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.

+ Public accounting experience or experience in a public company environment is highly desirable.
+ Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
