Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, maintenance, and presentation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Investigate variances between forecasts, budgets, and historical performance to provide actionable insights.
- Design and deliver ad-hoc analytical reports to address business needs and support quick decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Financial Operations team to retrieve data, compile profit and loss statements, and conduct in-depth analyses.
- Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering growth and operational excellence.
- Act as a key liaison between accounting and reporting teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in financial systems architecture, ensuring alignment between accounting and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize systems for financial calculations and data consolidations
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud, Smartview/Essbase, or Hyperion systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large datasets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial statements for our investment portfolios. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards and maintaining accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment accounting, GAAP reporting, and team leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversee a team responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements (e.g., statement of assets and liabilities, schedule of investments, statement of operations, statement of changes in net assets, statement of cash flows, accompanying financial footnotes and tailored shareholder reports) and the accompanying support packages for mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment vehicles.
2. Ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements.
3. Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
4. Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and reporting specialists.
5. Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.
6. Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on reporting processes.
7. Provide training and technical guidance to staff regarding changes in regulations and procedures.
8. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the reporting function.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CPA certified or candidate
- Nine or more years of experience in Mutual Fund Administration or related field, i.e., public accounting
Preferred Skills/Experience
+ College level degree or higher in accounting or finance and CPA certified or candidate preferred.
+ 10 + years with extensive experience in Mutual Fund Administration, investment company financial reporting or related field, i.e., public accounting.
+ Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Regulation S-X and investment company financial reporting best practices.
+ Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
+ Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial reporting systems (e.g., Unity Financials, Bloomberg, Eagle STAR).
+ Good oral, written communication and relationship building skills.
+ Effective at managing staff, dealing with other personnel at all levels and collaborating with external clients and stakeholders.

Job Description
**Responsibilities:**
The primary focus of the position includes month end close and reporting, forecasting, planning (long-range plan and business plan) and business decision analysis and Cost Accounting activities. Ability to influence leadership and present complex financial information to non-financial personnel are key capabilities for this position.
**Key Objectives/Deliverables:**
+ Coordinate processes for long range plan, quarterly forecasts, and annual business plan for a brand-new manufacturing site
+ Present monthly financial results and explain main drivers of business performance to local and plant management, as appropriate
+ Annual product costing for key Products
+ Implement & establish best practices internally and create procedure guidelines to flow for new site development
+ Perform Financial analysis for plant operations and provide decision support on any operational and technical matters of plant operations under guidance from Concord finance director
+ Monthly financial closing of books
+ Preparation of accounting Journal Vouchers and documentation for Concord financial closing
+ Provide guidance to the plant on financial policies, internal controls, costing, and accounting matters
+ Prepare Annual Business Plan Financials
+ Preparation of monthly opex reports and analyze variances actual opex vs business plan
+ Support management and business partners on key initiatives, including expense control, strategic sourcing, materials pricing, monthly metrics, headcount reporting, and operational opportunities.
+ Work with Operation and Functional directors for execution of productivity/gross margin improvements plan
+ Business Case analysis for Tech Agenda and other productivity projects
+ Serve as site SOX coordinator for Concord and interface with Corporate Financial Controls Organization
+ Accountable for execution of key SOX deliverables and serving as liaison for internal/external SOX audits. Ensure site audit readiness
+ Work with site engineering resources to develop the site capital plan and monitor site capital spending
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in. Finance, Accounting or related field
+ 4 years+ Finance / Accounting / Manufacturing Experience: Financial/accounting experience, specifically Planning, Forecasting, Reporting
+ Technical Leadership (Product Costing, Controllership, Data Stewardship)
**Additional Skills/Preferences:**
+ Pharmaceutical or manufacturing specific experience/ knowledge
+ Cost Accounting experience (product costing)
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Ability to work well with cross functional teams and independently
+ Computer/PC skills- SAP, SAC, Power BI, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
+ MBA or CPA preferred
+ Strong Multitasking and prioritization capabilities
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$57,750 - $84,700
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
