Responsibilities:

Job Description
The Finance Associate is responsible for general duties in support of the OpCo operations and works in collaboration with SBS to assist in resolving exceptions and issues. Specific duties will including, handling of local payments, deposits, managing petty cash, will call transactions, scanning of supporting documentation, and local regulatory compliance.
**Primary areas of responsibility:**
This Finance role is responsible for performing selected Finance and accounting duties that are transactional or administrative. Duties at the OpCo include but not limited to:
· Performing deposits of all cash/manual payments that come directly to the OpCo. Scanning of back up support for checks, remittances, and other customer documents.
· Responsible for managing petty cash fund and replenishments
· Responsible for scanning invoices and receiving packets at the OpCo.
· Responsible for reporting issues within quality control and providing documentation to the SBS processing teams. This role would work closely with the quality control teams to ensure claims are submitted to obtain supplier credits
· Responsible for maintaining and reporting regulatory compliance (i.e. USDA, food safety documentation, etc.).
· Responsible for handling will call transactions involving payments from customers and employees. Includes processing employee purchases.
**Education:**
High School diploma required
**Minimum Experience:**
2+ years of finance and/or administration experience focused on document flow and handling transactional processing with deposit processing experience preferred

Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Act as a lieutenant to the Regional Controller.
+ Support the Regional Controller with the creation of Compass annual budgeting and forecasts.

+ Ensure that assets are set up correctly by the accounting and capital assets department by ensuring that all invoices are forwarded promptly.
+ Provide client ad-hoc reporting as needed.
+ Review and analyze Compass reporting to confront potential issues proactively.
+ Provide financial evaluation of new business and re-bid proformas, working closely with the operations team to ensure achievable financial goals.
+ Improve the quality of financial review through benchmarking and sensitivity analysis.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making within the corporate functions
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization within the corporate functions.
- Provide financial support and guidance to the corporate functions to ensure financial targets are met.

Qualifications

If you have previous experience in performing Financial Analysis, reviewing Financial Statements for Commercial Properties, we would need you on our growing TEAM!
Commercial Real Estate Senior Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities- Review Financial Statements while analyzing trends to make Financial Projections
- Auditing CAM tax reconciliations in comparison to lease requirements to confirm and correct discrepancies
- Prepare a schedule of vendor services with terms and payment history
- Outline capital expenditure variances annually with year over year reporting
- Track Accounts Receivable Aging for bad debt expenses and reduce daily sales outstanding (DSO)
- Produce Financial Trends based on rent percentage, CAM, and tax recoveries.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required
- CPA is required, CFA is a plus!
- A minimum of 2 years previous audit experience is strongly preferred
- Tech savvy with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
