Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures for SEC Forms 10-K and 10-Q, and other SEC filings as needed
- Assist with the preparation of the Company's periodic regulatory filings, including the quarterly Call Report and FR Y-9C
- Research accounting requirements of significant or new transactions, assess and document appropriate accounting treatment, assist with Company-wide implementation to ensure compliance with GAAP or regulatory rules, and design required disclosures for financial reporting
- Provide support for the Company's quarterly earnings release, including preparation of documents to support the earnings call and additional needs of the Investor Relations department
- Preparation of audit schedules and memos requested by external auditors and regulators to support financial statement disclosures and regulatory reports
- Review processes and procedures and develop recommendations for continuous improvements/efficiencies
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four firm or comparable financial services industry accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with bank regulatory and SEC reporting preferred
- Strong technical accounting research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated statements of cash flows.
- In charge of reviewing various consolidated schedules that support the consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures.
- Actively collaborate with controllers and finance leaders in each line of business and geography to comprehend material transactions and other drivers underlying key schedules and reports.
- Handle the cash flow implications of M& A, equity transactions, hedge accounting, leases, and other technical areas.
- Enhance the process of preparing consolidated cash flow through effective use of existing technology and standardization of inputs.
- Assist with projects in adjacent areas of controllership and financial reporting.
- Engage with the internal audit function during the testing of internal controls over financial reporting.
- Act as a point of contact for external audit requests related to cash flow and other deliverables.
- Utilize various Accounting Software Systems, including ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, EPS, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
- Manage various accounting functions, including accounts payable and auditing.
- Monitor and handle balance sheet accounts and budget processes. Requirements - Extensive experience in Accounting Software Systems

- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Performing balance sheet account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of general ledger entries.

- Identifying and investigating discrepancies in financial data.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Preparing journal entries and accruals.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
- Researching and documenting accounting issues.
- Staying current with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
- Maintaining financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with special projects as needed.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or candidacy is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on financial reporting, is essential. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills are required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are a must. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are also necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to make a significant contribution to our client's financial operations.
