We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in financial systems architecture, ensuring alignment between accounting and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize systems for financial calculations and data consolidations
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud, Smartview/Essbase, or Hyperion systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large datasets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to develop expertise in accounting software systems.

Performance of a variety of accounting and financial reporting activities. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, review, production and distribution of internal and external corporate and bank financial reports and data submissions, including reports distributed to or filed with the Truist Board of Directors and Executive Leadership, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Federal Reserve Board (FRB).

+ Support the Company's SEC reporting process including the preparation and filing of periodic SEC filings on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K to ensure they are complete, accurate, and filed in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
+ Partner with the Investor Relations team and senior stakeholders in the preparation of materials for the quarterly earnings release process and addressing investor queries related to financial reports.
+ Prepare and review materials to senior leadership summarizing issues and communicating solutions as well as quarterly updates to disclosures.
+ Proactively identify, research, consult, and draft technical memorandums on accounting issues and disclosures, including for new accounting and reporting standards.
+ Review and update policies and procedures for compliance with regulations and corporate polices and standards.
+ Support development of new accounting processes and procedures.
+ Ensure robust internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including disclosure controls and procedures.
+ Interact with internal and external audit, and support for the auditing process overall.
+ Act as a change agent to streamline, improve and further automate the SEC reporting processes to provide a new perspective on existing processes.
+ Support disclosure enhancements and process improvements to address internal/external challenges, including ability to research disclosure requirements and interact with internal business leaders / peer institutions to understand disclosure needs.
+ Review and approve work of other team members.

+ Direct and manage the preparation of the quarterly fluctuation analysis, including accumulating financial support, performing an analytical review of the data, and networking with business partners to gather input into key trends/drivers, and significant changes for each quarter.

Agency Finance Manager
The Loan Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of associates responsible for FannieMae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae loan servicing. The Loan Operations team is responsible for various functions within the Servicing Loan Operations Team including but not limited to new loan boarding, escrow disbursements, loan documentation, data entry, escrow analysis, UCC, investor custodial accounts, for the Agency Finance portfolio of loans that are underwritten through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae (Government-Sponsored Enterprise or GSEs). This individual will also be responsible for providing information to both internal stakeholders (other LOBs) and external stakeholders (borrowers, insurance agents, third party providers, and the GSEs). Additionally, they will be responsible for identifying, researching, solving and/or responding to requests, inquiries, and problematic situations in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the position include being a subject matter expert and key contact internally withRisk, Compliance and Audit and externally with the Agencies. In addition to the following responsibilities (either directly or via oversight and leadership of the team):
Manage insurance compliance and reporting to GSE’s
Vendor compliance and oversight;
Oversight and quality review of New Loan Boarding
Serve as a liaison between the Loan Servicing Team, Asset Management, Closing, Capital Markets, and Origination teams
Ensure compliance with Agency guidelines
Ensure compliance with Master Servicing procedures for the loan servicing portfolio
Proactively manage, research, identify and resolve payment problems, monetary and non-monetary delinquencies and other complex borrower related issues
Track Loan Operations metrics and ensure teams are well managed
Ability to understand complex customer needs
Applies experience and analysis to develop creative and innovative solutions for variousissues
Provide guidance to the team on all aspects of GSE requirements, communication, andreporting
Work directly with the Agency Finance technology team on dashboards and enhanced reporting tools.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 4 years of experience working in Commercial Real Estate
At least 3 years of experience in management
Preferred Qualifications :
5+ years of experience working with GSE-backed multifamily loans
4+ years of experience managing a loan servicing team
3+ years of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac experience
