As a Finance Reporting Analyst, you will be supporting the Medicare Finance organization with day to day financial and accounting responsibilities. This position will focus on the Aetna Medicare Supplement Insurance business. The Financial Reporting Analyst will support the Med Supp team with accounting responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, month close journal entries and reconciliations.
**Required Qualifications**

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for accounting and reporting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resulting managerial reports and financial statements for Bath and Body Works Digital. This role requires a background in accounting with the ability to perform financial data analysis. This is a highly visible Senior Financial Analyst position for one of the world's most prominent brands with annual sales exceeding $7B. This position reports directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting and serves as a key liaison with various cross functional business partners. The ideal candidate will be not only experienced in accounting & reporting, but also passionate, motivated, and energized by the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in the industry.
Responsibilities
+ Assisting in the monthly and quarterly close cycles including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance and account analysis.
+ Completing financial statement disclosures checklist; maintain and prepare detailed work papers to support financial statements.
+ Preparing monthly variance analysis for management on the P&L and Balance Sheet.
+ Leading ad hoc analysis and special projects on an as needed basis.
+ Maintaining financial and operational controls and procedures.
+ Identifying and implementing accounting process changes in support of continued growth of the business.
+ Building strong relationships with cross functional (operational) business partners.
+ Preparing all work in a timely manner with a high level of attention to detail.
+ Clearly articulating and communicating ideas and explanations.

Qualifications
+ 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting firm experience preferred).
+ CPA or successful progress toward CPA is preferred, not required.

+ Ability to build cross functional partnerships.
+ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and accounting system packages; experience with SAP preferred.

As a CBRE Finance Sr. Analyst, you'll apply advanced cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties. This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
What you'll do:
- Complete intermediate to advanced-level accounting transactions in preparation for client financial statement packages.
- Create and post journal entries and ensure that all expenses, receipts, owner's distributions, funding requests, and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately posted.
- Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting. Prepare packages on a schedule to ensure timely delivery to the client and other management teams.
- Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Respond to and resolve complex issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reports.
- Recognize potential issues and conflicts and take corrective action to minimize issues.
- Facilitate the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance measurements.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
