**Position Summary:**
The **Sr. Analyst, Finance Co-Pilot-Operations** provides accurate and timely financial information and analyses for operational expenses to drive profitable growth. This role supports the Finance Manager for Garden of Life & Solgar brands and is responsible for planning, analyzing, and reporting on volume, mix, and rate changes. **Position Specific Description**
Under direct supervision, this job applies diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields. Acts as a single point of contact for projects for the department. Develops knowledge and skills within a specific practice area. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments. Works on small projects or portions of larger projects. Some of the responsibilities for our business/ finance internship are listed below:
· Participate in all facets of the budgeting, forecasting and regulatory processes of Power Generation
· Learn the business and support controls activities, capitalization efforts, forecasts, budgets and other analysis in the business area.
· Support financial dashboard development through PowerBI on business needs
· Support deep dive analyses into cost strategies
· Review requested project NPV's (Net Present Value), IRR's (Internal Rate of Return) and CPVRR's (Cumulative Present Value of Revenue Requirements) from other departments
Strong Preferences:
· Finance, Accounting or Business majors
· Must be proficient in all Microsoft Applications
· Proficiency in statistics, six sigma data mining tools (i.e. Power Pivot) is a strong plus
· Able to work extended hours
