**Position Purpose:**
The Sr. Manager - Regional Finance Leader (Sr. RFL) will support the President of the Western Division of U.S. Stores and the divisional leadership team, providing financial leadership, direction, and analysis. This leader is responsible for developing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting and leading a team of finance professionals in supporting the regional store leaders. The Sr. RFL owns the divisional P&L and plays a key role in driving functional metrics, controlling costs, and driving sales. They report to and work closely with the Director - U.S. Stores Finance to achieve business goals and create shareholder value through the planning process. This leader also manages and supports two Regional Finance Leads responsible for overseeing the financials and providing business support to the Western regions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Strategic Analysis/Problem Solving - Works to fully understand business; identify and implement process and organizational improvements. Plans and ensures execution of department objectives. Participates in preparation of the annual budget, reviews monthly expenditures and ensures that budgetary goals are met. Reviews monthly metrics to ensure goals are met.
+ Project Management- Develops and supports a strategic alliance with business partners. Participates in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing our competitive advantage. Facilitates cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including but not limited to Finance, Operations, and Information Systems.

Portfolio Monitoring and Analysis:

Requirements:

  • 2-4+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or private equity operations.

As the Finance Manager, you will focus on financial performance reporting, financial forecasting, analysis to identify risks and opportunities, as well as partnering with the Rental Operations and Fleet Operations organizations. This position requires a balance of leadership, financial acumen and business partnership.
The starting salary is $115K; commensurate with experience.
**What You'll Do:**
+ **Forecasting:** Prepare and update forecasts, analyzing variances, and adjusting financial projections to reflect changing business conditions and targets.
+ **Financial Modeling:** Condense and synthesize vast financial and operations data to identify key metrics that drive performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
+ **Analysis & Reporting:** Fleet Operations financial support including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensure adherence to reporting cadences; variance and trend analysis (telling the story); business case development; and ROI analysis.
+ **Financial Planning & Budgeting:** Work with Fleet Operations team and leaders to create and consolidate budgets that align with the Hertz's overall business goals.
+ **Management Reporting** : Compile accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership.
+ **Business Partnering:** Collaborate with Fleet Operational teams to understand specific business needs, identify financial impacts, and support decision-making processes.
+ **Leadership:** Communicates across the organization with honesty, authenticity, and courage. Gains confidence of others and remains motivated when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty.
+ **Process Improvement** : Identify and implement process improvements in the forecasting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
+ **Strategy** : Demonstrate problem solving approach to business planning and special projects.
+ **Control & Audit** : Internal control policy, including compliance testing. Well-organized and proactive.
+ **Ad-hoc Analysis:** Perform ad-hoc financial and operational analyses as required to support business decisions, initiatives, and/or executive requests.
