The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for preparation and filing of SEC reporting documents and serves as the key technical accounting advisor to the Company. This position interfaces with many different levels of the organization including the executive suite and our external auditors so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate will be responsible for implementing new accounting pronouncements and various technical accounting projects including assisting with accounting for new acquisitions. This position is a key role targeted for future advancement within the organization and a great way to learn about Generac and establish relationships with key leaders of the business. The position reports directly to the VP, Corporate Controller.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**
+ Responsible for SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and XBRL compliance, requiring interaction with multiple different areas of the business including legal, tax, and subsidiary/business groups.
+ Assist with quarterly earnings release
+ Develop working knowledge of Regulation S-X and S-K
+ Lead Disclosure Review Committee attended by contributors and reviewers of the 10-Q/10-K.
+ Assume a lead role with our external auditors in the quarterly reviews and annual audit
+ Act as technical expert for the Company in such areas as product/service revenue and cost recognition, segment reporting, purchase accounting, share compensation and lease accounting
+ Assist global organization with accounting questions, provide trainings and participate in technical reviews
+ Project manage and lead the technical analysis for any new accounting pronouncements and preparation of technical memos
+ Assist with ownership of internal accounting policy and procedures manual, providing updates as needed.
+ Assist with acquisitions by completing fund flow reconciliation and purchase accounting walk and oversee coordination of intangibles valuation
+ Provide support to Corporate Development as needed, including acquisition due diligence
+ Ensure proper initial and ongoing accounting for earn-outs
+ Responsible for corporate accounting areas including: EPS, stock compensation, non-controlling interests, debt, restructuring reserves, annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment analysis, segment reporting and other technical areas as applicable.
+ Provide budget and forecast estimates for certain corporate accounting accounts
+ Perform monthly reconciliations within OneStream for areas of responsibility.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
+ 5 years of public accounting experience or related industry financial reporting experience
+ Strong technical acumen and attention to detail
+ Strong leadership and communication skills - capable of presenting to all levels of organization
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

- Maintain clear documentation of system changes, processes, and controls.
- Closely work with and support the Onestream admin as needed as well
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO and BPC administration and support.
- Strong hands-on experience with master data management and hierarchy maintenance.
- Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Experience working in coordination with IT on system testing and error resolution.
- Ability to troubleshoot and support end-users with SAP/BPC-related issues.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Onestream knowledge a plus as SAP closely ties with the workings of Onestream.
- Experience with SAP BPC Embedded and/or Standard Model preferred
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW desired
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar analytics tools preferred
- Prior experience supporting financial systems in a global or enterprise environment is desired

The Salary range for this position is $94,400.00-$119,950.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
