We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial statements for our investment portfolios. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards and maintaining accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment accounting, GAAP reporting, and team leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Oversee a team responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements (e.g., statement of assets and liabilities, schedule of investments, statement of operations, statement of changes in net assets, statement of cash flows, accompanying financial footnotes and tailored shareholder reports) and the accompanying support packages for mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment vehicles.
2. Ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements.
3. Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
4. Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and reporting specialists.
5. Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.
6. Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on reporting processes.
7. Provide training and technical guidance to staff regarding changes in regulations and procedures.
8. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the reporting function.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CPA certified or candidate
- Nine or more years of experience in Mutual Fund Administration or related field, i.e., public accounting
Preferred Skills/Experience
+ College level degree or higher in accounting or finance and CPA certified or candidate preferred.
+ 10 + years with extensive experience in Mutual Fund Administration, investment company financial reporting or related field, i.e., public accounting.
+ Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Regulation S-X and investment company financial reporting best practices.
+ Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for preparation and filing of SEC reporting documents and serves as the key technical accounting advisor to the Company. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**
+ Responsible for SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and XBRL compliance, requiring interaction with multiple different areas of the business including legal, tax, and subsidiary/business groups.
+ Assist with quarterly earnings release
+ Develop working knowledge of Regulation S-X and S-K
+ Lead Disclosure Review Committee attended by contributors and reviewers of the 10-Q/10-K.

The Finance Manager, Clean Energy plays a key role in providing financial planning and analysis support for Generac's growth strategy focusing on the Clean Energy business group. Summary - basic function of the role
The Vice President, Finance - Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a key strategic leader responsible for driving financial performance, business insights, and long-range planning within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Business Analyst - Finance is a hybrid role that combines financial planning and analysis (FP&A) with business intelligence and analytics (BI&A). This position is responsible for delivering timely and actionable insights through financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization. This position will evaluate existing core processes impacting finance and accounting within the North American operational sites for efficiency and effectiveness. This position will collaborate with the various functions to implement process or system changes to streamline and improve existing processes and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Responsible for understanding the current process and documenting the process in a design document, contribute to documentation of policies, practices, and operational controls (SOP/DTP/PDD) while utilizing generally accepted business analysis standards such as: written documents and UML diagrams such as Flow Charts, Swimlane Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and others as needed.
- Develop automated processes to eliminate manual procedures ensuring improved quality, increased accuracy, and reduced processing time
- Analyze and recommend new opportunities for operational efficiencies
- Recommend solutions and/or create/run reports to support error resolution
- Design and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reports, in a way that is meaningful, accessible, and clear for individuals at all levels of understanding. Using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SAP S4HANA to support Accounting, Execution, and Operations teams.
- Collaborates with end users to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing and validation
