**About This Role:**
The Consultant will be responsible for monthly/quarterly financial reporting to include expense trending, forecasting, and variance analysis for Enterprise staff groups. Other duties to include weekly and/or monthly reporting, process troubleshooting, and ad hoc analysis. The SVHI also operates the CV surgical programs at CHI St Vincent Infirmary and CHI St Vincent Hot Springs, which includes 5 CV surgeons, 1 vascular surgeon and their clinic operations. The complexity and uniqueness of the SVHI operations requires a financial leader who can function at a Director level and has the skill set necessary to not only produce and control financials required on the system level, but oversee revenue control and a 30+ FTE billing department for all professional and technical clinic services produced.

Job Summary
The Finance Manager supports the finance and operations teams throughout the budget, forecast, and month-end processes. The Manager will analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, identifying trends, and investigating ways to improve accuracy and profitability. Primary responsibilities include assisting regional and division leaders in preparing annual budgets, and financial forecasts, and monitoring operating account performance. This role is in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Familiar and adept at creating budgets for new and existing business
+ Provide training to operations and support staff on business drivers and metrics of the company
+ Proficient in working with legal and operations teams to create new business costings
+ Proficient with reconciling period close items for multiple budgets/locations within allotted time frame
+ Must have experience with full P&L ownership for multiple accounts
+ Develop measurable goals/financial dashboards and client facing reporting
+ Recommend actions to improve financial performance
+ Identify variance to budget and forecast in real time with detailed explanation
+ Must be able to collaborate with operations create solutions to forecast variances and budget discrepancies
+ Be catalyst in improving business processes and procedures
+ Other ad hoc projects as assigned
+ Develop strong operational relationships with Regional Operations Support Teams
+ Monthly billing functions include any requested reports and back up documents for billing
+ Create month end reports for Crothall and for the client
+ Track and follow up on outstanding AR's
+ Weekly, monthly and annual forecasting with a target of less than a 5% variance
+ Attend client meetings and or calls discussing financials for the EVS department
+ Knowledge of healthcare support services preferred
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA or CPA is preferred.
+ Must live in Charlotte, NC with 20% travel within the Southeast United States
+ A total of 5+ years of finance experience with full P&L ownership
+ Ability to effectively manage and extend influence across multiple layers of the organization and a passion for helping your field partners succeed.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable presenting in front of groups and different levels of management.
+ Requires a high level of proficiency in Excel to successfully manage a vast amount of data and to develop sophisticated financial models.
+ Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to set goals and objectives, and timelines to efficiently meet tasks
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills and professional image
