The main responsibility of this position is analyzing non-operated revenue and ownership for proper disbursement to interest owners. This also includes analysis of various aspects related to oil & gas revenue and accounting related transactions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record non-operated revenue
- Ensure revenue statements are recorded properly across all wells in SAP PRA based on Company's share
- Review purchaser statements & check details for all products to determine accuracy of revenue payments
- Prepare and create uploads directly into Accounting Software (SAP)
- Perform accounting analysis in SAP
- Provide proper documentation for revenue voucher submitted for review
- Ensure all revenue voucher related back-up is scanned and saved in proper locations
- Meet all revenue distribution deadlines
- Assist other members of the Revenue Group as needed
- Perform various ad hoc projects as assigned
- Communicate with other departments within the company to resolve outstanding items
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations as needed
- Bachelor's degree (BBA or BS) in Accounting
- Demonstrated experience in MS Excel, including skills creating and configuring VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Sum IF formulas
- Familiar with revenue accounting, production, and general accounting principles
- At least one (1+) years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience working within the PRA module of SAP
- Attention to detail with ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, work independently, and maintain organized files
- Examples of suggested and implemented process improvements to increase efficiency
- Be flexible regarding daily work assignments and priorities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to quickly pick up on new concepts

**How will you make an impact in this role?**
The Senior Financial Analyst of Asset-backed Securitization ("ABS") is a key position within Global Treasury Controllership. ABS provides one of the primary funding sources for American Express. American Express periodically securitizes Card Member receivables and loans arising from its card business through the transfer of those assets to securitization trusts. The trusts then issue securities to third-party investors, collateralized by the transferred assets.
The ABS Controllership team is responsible for the accounting, cash management, controls, and SEC & Trust Investor reporting requirements to help support this vital funding source for American Express. The team is committed to excellence, talent development, encouraging work/life balance, and timely recognition of team members. This position will perform accounting, reporting, and analysis for the ABS Trusts. The ABS Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the key deliverables for the trusts, including daily settlement activity and the monthly reporting.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Perform cash settlement activities within the ABS system (ABS Suite ), including but not limited to daily cash settlement
+ Perform accounting activities, including daily accounting, ABS model updates, documentation of key processes, and balance checks
+ Prepare monthly trust servicer report within ABS Suite , and responsible for the filing
+ Perform reporting activities, including regulatory submissions, intercompany balance reporting, financial submissions, SEC reporting, and monthly reconciliations
+ Ensure a strong internal control environment including SOX and other controls & compliance
+ Provide support for automation of ABS processes, and become SME for ABS Suite to support business initiatives / key projects
+ Provide monthly and ad-hoc data submission to the business and Finance leadership in a standardized and intuitive manner
+ Support automation of ABS processes, and the evolution of optimization and standardization for the asset-backed securitization process including working closely with treasury, legal, technology, Bank and other business partners
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 2 years in Accounting
+ Undergraduate degree required in Accounting
+ High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
+ Strong accounting skills, analysis and reporting
+ Ability to articulate complex ideas with brevity, simplicity and impact
+ Flexibility to effectively function in a fast-paced environment, high energy team player
+ Excellent communication skills with an innate ability to interact at all levels of the organization
+ Confidence to ask questions, develop a point of view, and voice an opinion in meetings with senior executives
+ Motivated self-starter able to operate on multiple, confidential, diverse fronts simultaneously, with attention to detail
+ Natural strategic mindset or "business intuition" - ability to step back from the numbers and consider the analysis from multiple points of view, decision analysis and support skillset required

This is the third in a series of four finance analyst roles in a multi-site, multi-specialty academic medical center. **Qualifications**

Other business related bachelor's degrees require a minimum of nine years of applicable accounting or finance experience.A master degree in accounting or finance, a MBA, MHA, CPA (active or inactive), CMA or CIA can be substituted for one year experience.
