Summary:
The safety of our team members, guests and partners is our number one priority. As Food Safety and Sanitation Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring all areas of Safety and Sanitation compliance at the location. The ideal candidate will be a health and safety champion who is focused on people and quality standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
+ Assisting with regular team member training to continually enhance understanding of best practices and to address any emerging risks or issues
+ Ensuring the accurate and thorough maintenance of all safety-related records such as temperature logs
+ Completing periodic safety inspections and walk-throughs
+ Assisting with the implementation of Levy's safety and sanitation program at the venue
+ Work with the HR team to ensure timely completion and tracking of all mandatory safety and sanitation training
+ Complete regular building inspections and walk-throughs with the operations team to identify any safety risks
+ Working with the Home Office Risk Management team in responding to or managing any safety and claims issues
+ Working with operations and culinary teams to ensure the timely completion and storage of all mandatory records
+ Ensure the timely completion and storage of all team member accident reports
+ Complete regular 'Tool-box talk' trainings with hourly team members
+ Work with the partner facilities team to address any joint concerns for team member safety
+ Provides knowledgeable assistance in the reporting, monitoring, and settling of team members, foodborne illness, liquor liability and guest claims
+ Work with local OSHA, sanitation or Steritech inspectors to support inspections or local initiatives

The salary range for this role is
$169,700.00 - $267,200.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. **Responsibilities**
+ Quality Engineer will serve as the ISO Management Representative for the facility.
+ The backup for the ISO rep will be the Quality Manager/SQF Practitioner
+ The backup for the SQF Practitioner will the Quality Engineer
+ Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.
+ Responsible for adhering to Food Safety Compliance.
+ Constant vigilance and participation in GMP and SQF practices.
+ Identify and record problems relating to product, process and quality systems.
+ Initiate action to prevent occurrences of any nonconformity of product or quality systems.
+ Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
+ Set up and prepare CQV protocol for required tool qualifications
+ Prepare and implement quality procedures and work instructions in C-Pro Compliance database
+ Create and maintain product specifications, customer spec files, and analyze data as necessary.
+ Supports process and test method validation activities by developing and executing protocols for new and existing processes.
+ Evaluates and introduces new measurement techniques to increase repeatability and reproducibility.
+ Assist and oversees functional operations of SPC collection system, AVID systems and quality measurement equipment.
+ Assist in the reduction of customer complaints due to quality related problems.
+ Ability to stand for prolonged periods, working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to follow our GMP practices and wear the proper PPE. (Steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing production)
+ Willingness to travel as needed to support customer and supplier requirements.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience.

JOB SUMMARY
This position reports directly to FSPM and will supervise QA techs who are overseeing all production rooms responsible for the required corporate food safety capabilities and FSQA programs and responsibilities daily. The supervisor will be responsible as well for the overall quality and integrity of the items manufactured. The supervisor will be working directly with all key site leaders ensuring proper communication and overall awareness on related issues or concerns from a FSQA perspective. These roles would include, VP of Operations, President, and FSQA Senior Leadership as needed to resolve all FSQA related issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Conduct daily walk-through of assigned areas to check the work of direct reports and the quality of the product.
+ Review programs and checks completed from Direct Reports daily for quality issues and resolve concerns or issues accordingly.
+ Ensure food safety policies are being upheld. Check all workflows as needed per the requirements of the food safety programs and as outlined within SQF/FDA/USDA requirements.
+ Communicate quality issues to site leadership being FSQA corporate leadership, local site buyers, managers, day warehouse, and receivers, as well as informing of any shortage and damage of product or poor quality of the product.
+ Supervise and review the rework of all distressed/damaged products manufactured within the value-added production rooms ensuring quality and FSQA programs are met.
+ Lead and conduct all training and feedback to direct reports as it relates to quality processes and company procedures.
+ Ensure that safety procedures are followed daily.
+ Coaching and evaluation of employees as needed for safe work and Food Safety policy compliance.
+ Conduct and perform Coaching Maximizing Performance Reviews (CMP) of all direct reports regularly to ensure they are on track to meet their goals.
+ Oversee and schedule staffing of direct reports and QA techs for coverage and work duties within value added rooms and production areas.
+ Oversee and Manage Audit Comply reviewing daily data entries and checks ensuring accuracy and adherence to SQF programs and corporate FSQA requirements.
+ Assist with Periodic Equipment Cleaning, scheduling and communicating with maintenance team on equipment related repairs and needs to ensure operational safety and efficiency needs.
QUALIFICATIONS Education
+ HS diploma or equivalent.
+ Associate degree in related discipline.
Experience
+ 1-3 years' experience in food manufacturing experience and food safety related programs and responsibilities with perishable products; and /or a combination of education and industry experience.
Professional Skills
+ Ability to solve problems independently and effectively articulate and communicate information.
+ Able to supervise and motivate hourly employees.
+ Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other computer programs to help execute reports, charts and customer presentations if required and to present key deliverables of production-related metrics to Senior leadership team and FSPM.
+ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
+ Audit Comply capabilities and overall knowledge.
+ Experience using powered industrial equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack).
+ Training capabilities and speaking skills.
+ Bilingual would be preferred but not required.

Responsible for inspecting the product to identify quality issues and assisting with product repacking as needed.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
+ Conduct daily walk-through of assigned coolers to check the quality of the product and identify any quality issues.
+ Check dates of product for proper product rotation by date.
+ Remove any distressed product, determine what product needs reworking and what product should be discarded.
+ Rework all distressed/damaged products.

+ Report all lost products or transfers.
+ Assure that all inventory is properly blocked and labeled.
+ Assist in inventory counts.
+ Instructs handlers in the proper method of loading trucks.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
Prefer High School or GED
**Experience**
A minimum of two (2) years related experience (knowledge of produce industry preferred).
**Skills**
+ Ability to operate warehouse power equipment.
+ Ability to interact with others in a professional manner.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills.
+ General understanding of the shipping procedures of a high-volume warehouse operation.
+ Solid understanding of produce varieties handled in a wholesale operation.
