Forklift SUMMARY: The Material Handler is responsible for handling and moving all products as needed for the facility by performing the following key responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE: * High School Diploma or GED preferred. * Any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. * Prior work experience in a corrugated manufacturing plan. Description:Position: Material Handler. Reports to the Logistics Manager. Receives materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number, QTY, etc. Documents materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location. Locate material(s) by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Deliver production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution. Locate and pack materials for shipping. Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Documents product shipment by recording units shipped. Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
