**What you'll do:**
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to manage a high-volume distribution center, driving operational excellence across order fulfillment, safety, quality, cost, and team engagement. This role oversees both operational and functional teams-including Quality, EHS, HR, Customer Service, and Maintenance-and partners across the value stream to ensure seamless performance from inbound logistics to customer delivery.

What you will be doing:

  • Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials
  • Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves, or conveys order to packing station or shipping department

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
  • Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • Ability to use hands, sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk or hear
  • Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments

    Overview:

    • Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory.
    Typical Functions:
    • Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
    • Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers' instructions.
    • Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.
    • Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies.
    • Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required.
    • Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.
    • May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED
    Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

    Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $18.00 per hour depending on experience.

    Additional Information:
    • Steel toed boots required.
