Position Overview

Working in our distribution center in Moro, OR, this Order Puller role is physically active and mission-driven. You'll play a vital role in getting natural and organic products into the hands of thousands of customers across the country. If you’re reliable, hardworking, and passionate about doing a job well, we’d love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull and invoice customer orders from shelves at various levels in a fast-paced production environment
• Accurately fulfill orders with small-sized products, often requiring repackaging
• Use handheld scanners and mobile carts to locate and verify products
• Pack boxes using company SOPs and training best practices
• Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to quality
• Maintain a strong pace throughout the shift with required breaks and meal periods

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform repetitive reaching, bending, and squatting
• Basic computer skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• High energy and a strong work ethic
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to meet daily production targets

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time
• Starting pay up to $15.00/hour
• Performance-based picking bonus available, increasing total earnings to as much as $25.00/hour
• Non-Holiday Workweek : Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
• Holiday Season (October–January): 6-day workweeks with up to 20 hours overtime available

Overview:

• Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory.

Typical Functions:

• Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.

• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers' instructions.

• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections.

• Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies.

• Accurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required.

• Select and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations.

• May perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations.

Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $18.00 per hour depending on experience.

What You'll Do

• Unload and receive inbound furniture orders which will require manually moving large, heavy goods.

• Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.

• Use scan technology to document pertinent carton level information, including condition, quantity, and warehouse location of material.

• Proactively monitor order management systems to ensure that all orders have been received properly and that detailed descriptions are provided for any Overage/Shortage/Damage issues.

• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and up to date.

• Pick deliveries from inventory and stage them by truck and stop number.

• Provide direct input into the existing user tools and make recommendations for improvements based on your everyday experience.

• Be a vocal contributor on the team.

• Work effectively with peers and managers.

• Identify the most efficient way to complete assigned tasks and asks clarifying questions when appropriate.

• Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.

• Be cross trained in other departments and required to perform additional responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

• Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving product 150+ lbs. unassisted or via team lift.

• Must be able to work on warehouse floor 8 hours a day or more.

• Strong, consistent work ethic.

• Comfort with scanning technology.

• Experience in Distribution or Logistics is a plus.

• Experience working in High Jump is a plus.

• Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.

What you will be doing:

• Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials

• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves, or conveys order to packing station or shipping department

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
